Crashrobot Posted April 11, 2012 I am not sure about Rise anymore for me...I loved her at first...then the eyes creeped me out. My sister calls them "bleep eyes" which has now really creeped me out. If i get her, those anime eyes will have to go and I will put different animetic eyes in her. I'm actually scared how the animatic eyes will look on her. Maybe I will just stick to sakuya. Lumirei Posted April 11, 2012 uh oh after seeing those pictures of Rise with non anime eyes I think I want her too now XD The only thing that turned me off on her was the eyes they have as her defaults just don't match the face to me. She looks SO much like a resin SD, that it's really strange seeing her with anime style eyes. I like it, but it's strange... because I keep thinking of her like this: Oh my! Rina's pupils are small too but I think she has one of the prettiest eyes ever~ << or maybe bcuz I'm obsessed about her how many people are gonna go for Rise though? so far I'm seeing 6 to 8 people having high interests in her~ and oh if someone is gonna go for Sakuya through Volks USA, I'd like to do a split for everything but her head and body. It's a $100 increase over the last model to buy all the necessary pieces, and with the quality control issues and cracking it's not worth it. Plus now instead of worrying if one piece is in stock, you have to worry about eight. I'd hate to think of not buying from Volks in the future, but this is seriously frustrating. :/ I very much hope that they keep producing DDII bodies alongside the new ones. Uhm, I think that Volks thinks along the lines of "If we release the 3rd version of the bodies fullset, no one will buy the 2nd version of the bodies we still have/want to make."? Or maybe they haven't worked out the kinks yet? :3 *Or maybe they are just not ready to mass produce and ship the bodies, since orders would come in by the hundreds (could be thousands) if they did, along with all the other items they are trying to make. Look at the Sabers!
