Obitsu 40 vs MDD?

Hi

I have heard that parabox40 could be a good alternative to MDD body.

Is it true? Can MDD 's head be put on parabox 's bodies?

Does anyone have a comparaison pic? I would really appreciate!

Yes, it's true.

 

The DD head won't fit the Parabox body by default, but with either a custom neck piece (bought from YJA usually) or some DIY work it can be made to fit.

 

One of my MDD girls uses a Parabox 40 body (and a second one on its way) and I have to say it's vastly superior to the MDD body in terms of posing etc. And I believe the measurements are pretty much the same too, haven't had any problems fitting MDD clothes on them, and the height seems to be pretty much the same as well!

it is down to personal opinion which body you prefer (i am biased because i have a P40 ) but i think it the obitsu poses much better and really doesn't suffer any of the problem that the MDD does .

 

there are some nuances but it is a really solid body and i am glad i bought it !

 

 

a lot of japanese use the body for their dollfie dreams too and it is very easy to DIY your own neckpiece (you just need a longer screw)

Some people do not like the Obitsu knees.

Mentioned here and there K2! making his Pinky replaced the MDD internal skeleton with Obitsu parts, but it's a "mayor surgery"

And to DD normal skin, Obitsu white is way better match than the darker Obitsu NS.

The Parabox 40cm body is only available as "whitey" which matches DD normal fairly well. Unfortunately they don't have anything that matches DD White.

this is Remina's white skin DDH-06 on an Obitsu "whitey" 48cm.

 

whether it matchs DD White or DD normal depends on batch. the colour of the obitsu sits in the middle of the two.

 

so in truth it is chance which match you get, but it will never be a perfect.

 

Does your girl's joint has different color from her Whity body? Mine look a bit like normal joint on Whity body.

 

When I change her bust size from S (Default) to L (Extra order). Her L bust look darker than her other Whity part.

 

Isn't Obitsu50-48 has only Whity skin? Does your girl who has L bust got this same problem?

I think I'm sold on the Obitsu body now after seeing these lovely photos, haha. I'll probably hold out though for version two of the MDD body though just in case. So white skin might be the safest way to go when it comes to purchasing the Obitsu body?

For matching DD color definitely Obitsu white.

BTW Parabox-Obitsu 40cm body (it's an exclusive) comes only in white, the same for 48/50cm Obitsu bodies.

Just wanted to say that my SQ-Lab head is a perfect 100% match to the new MDD III body skin colour from the new Cirno.

So the DD normal skin tone head is equivalent to the "white" Parabox 40? Or do you need to have a DD white skin tone head to match the Parabox 40.. I'm almost tempted to go ahead and get a Obitsu body since the MDDs are taking so long to be restocked.

Not quite, the Obitsu/Parabox White is somewhere between DD normal and DD white.

Maybe after I actually do the faceup (and order the DDH-04 head... ^^;) I'll just get the 40 parabox and hope they match enough (or enough where maybe I can fake it with some blushing/pastels) Though MDD have much prettier elbows and kneecaps.. that's the only thing that bothers me about the parabox ones.. (if they're wearing high socks and long sleeves you'd probably never notice right?)

Yes, MDD bodies in general are prettier. I have to say personally though, the knees on the Parabox kinda grow on you, because they look much better than MDD knees when bent as they have an actual kneecap. It's the same with the arm really. That said, I do prefer keeping them covered with socks/etc.

 

I'm eagerly awaiting to see what price the MDD3 body will end up being, and then I'll have to re-evaluate if it's a good option to stick with the Parabox bodies.

oooo Waha, would it be possible to take a photo of the Obitsu/Parabox ankle joint compared to the MDD ankle joint? I'm curious to know if they are similar in size and if the leg portion (the part that connects the ankle to the leg) are the same size.

Hmm, I don't think it will fit without a lot of work. I could actually try because I have a MDD with a broken ankle joint.

Is there anyone with a MDD with either the obitsu 50cm default head or the 50-02 head?

 

I would love to see this for a reference for a new body for my 50-02 Error.

Does anyone have an idea how often Parabox restocks? Seems that the 40cm bodies all sold out at parabox.jp :-/
