Moe with bicycle!

I'm way overdue to introduce one of my newest DDs, Moe (version 2). I was fortunate enough to buy her from another forum member, Ren. I'll let Moe introduce herself:

She made everything except the shirt, that was part of a Volks set. The skirt, sweater, and little bow tie are adorable and very professionially made. I love that the sweater has little hearts for buttons. Thank you for making this for me, Kuraikawai! My favorite colour is pink."

 

I had wanted to take pictures of sweet Moe in other clothes, but my camera's batteries ran out.

Nice find on that bicycle, it looks great! There is something about Moe that just begs for pink, plaid, and other cutsey stuff like butterflies and flowers.

 

Smart girl, Moe. Don't make a contract with him! There's all kinds of stuff he could be hiding in the fine print. D:

I love how you've styled her! Very adorable and girlie~ But watch out for Kyuubey: I have the smaller Seven Two one with Noumi, I think a contract is imminent. Soon we'll have a forum full of Puella Magi.

Thanks for the comments, everyone! The bike was a great find. It was at the Canadian store "Winners," which is a discount store that sells designer stuff or stuff from other stores at lower prices ... I guess the US equivalent would be Filene's Basement or TJ Maxx. It was in the home decor section, I suppose you are meant to use it as a decoration on your bookshelf or mantle. It was only $30! If anyone wants one, I can look for more -- there was only one there when I checked, but they get new stuff all the time.

 

Kuraikawai, I'll be stalking your store in the future.

First off, it's so nice to see Moe! She is absolutely adorable! Her outfit is just too precious... it suits her perfectly.

 

Secondly, that bike is AWESOME! It may not be the perfect scale but's so friggin close and so friggin cool, it doesn't matter! I think Moe looks very good on it, and it's just like she's heading to school on an older, retro bike. That thing screams 50's style! Excellent buy on that bike!

It doesn't NEED to be a motorcycle! That bike is just so cool *because* it's a bicycle! It wouldn't work quite as well with a girl like my Ryomou or Manami but for someone like Elisabeth or Yukino, it would be perfect! Very simple but retro and an eyecatcher. it's simplicity and style is what makes it so nice.

 

If you happen to see another, please grab one for me!

Hi Moe. It's nice to meet you. I'm glad PC finally got around to letting us do that.

 

Your bike is very cool. Bummer school is so far away though. I'm not really familiar with your little animal friend there but I've heard he can grant magical powers or something. Perhaps rather than being a distraction they would make it easier to get back and forth from school, especially with all those books you mentioned. Just something to consider.

I caved and bought that 1/1 scale Kyubey too when I was pondering what to order for wonfes exclusives! I have him packed away because he takes up so much space! >_<

Yup, the price is right for these bikes. You just made me miss the downtown Toronto Winners store, though -- I used to live in that apartment building (College Park) and could visit it every day. That store was huge and always had new stuff coming in.
