A special message for Poofiemus

Greeting, denizens of the internet. Allow me to introduce myself.

I am Wrinslet Ringwald Sunderland, Duchess of Greater Cantilever, High Mechanist in service to Her Majesty and the High Technomancer. You may also address me simply as Rinrin.

 

 

I apologize for interrupting your normal activities and I assure you that I will be as brief as possible.

Anyways, let us move on to the topic at hand.

 

 

Many members of this particular site may be familiar with the Lady Agatha Heterodyne.

She has a bit of notoriety in addition to being a personal friend of mine.

However, my purpose here today has to do with her human minion, Poofiemus.

 

 

I apologize that I do not have a picture of this Poofiemus. I have met her in person once, but was distracted by the more important subject: the trains. So, I do not have a clear recollection of her appearance. However, feeding snippets of past descriptions by Miss Agatha into an internet search, I did generate a composite picture.

 

 

From the bits that I recall, this is a fairly accurate representation of her. Though, there might be a few small differences.

Never the less, in my conversation with her, Miss Agatha divulged "Considering she has to spend half of her 2 IQ points remembering to breath, it's amazing that the moron will have managed to survive another year soon."

 

 

After some querying, I found that April 12th is the birthday of said Poofiemus. As an acquaintance of her owner, I feel that I help celebrate this achievement.

 

 

However, having only met her once in passing, I am not very well familiar with her interests. So, I contacted Miss Agatha and asked her what she thought Poofiemus needs.

 

 

Her answer was quite clear and direct. However, it did present a bit of a challenge as to how to implement it.

 

 

A true scientist, however, never shirks from a challenge and I immediately began testing methods of increasing intelligence.

 

 

So far, the prototypes has all had some minor side effects, so I am not comfortable releasing them for use yet.

 

 

But, I wanted to let Poofiemus know that I am working on this and will definitely find a solution to her problem. I apologize for the delay, but please accept this as an IOU from me to you.

 

 

I will definitely find a way to fix you. Please continue your normal intake and outtake of oxygen and survive until then. And enjoy your special day!

Seeing the list of side effects to RinRin's experiments though I suddenly have a better understanding of why kymaera is the way he is. I mean clearly he was the available test subject right?

My apologies. To super-geniuses like Rinrin and Agatha, I'm sure that mere mortals all seem like cave-people to them. Though, it's humorous to see that Ms. Super-genius posted this in the wrong forum (Off-topic vs. Obitsu/etc).

 

However, to make sure nothing tentacular happens to Poofiemus, I've distracted Rinrin by focusing her on a different project which should keep her busy for a long time. I pointed out that scripple needs fixing a lot more than Poofiemus does

Sigh, sadly kymaera is right. I've only got the 1 IQ point so I actually have to stop breathing whenever I have another thought. Fortunately when I forget to go back to breathing and pass out the default action seems to be to remember to.........*thump*

Oddly though given some of the side effects I think she's actually already been carrying out experiments on me.

 

"Internal organs transmuted to tapioca pudding"...... pretty close to true.

"Random detachment of extremities"...... yep also frighteningly close to true

 

And you all can judge on the psychiatric ailments, although I'm not sure I've heard a Beiber song so I seem to have avoided the worst of it.

 

Sigh, I guess I've truly earned the monikor of scripple. Time for the old rainbow factory for me!

 

Careful though Poof, time eventually catches up to all of us.
