Little Busters Noumi Kudryavka

This section is late coming since the lottery is over but I like adding areas so we can know what series our DD's come from and better understand the image that they were originally created in... that said,

Much of this is summarized from Wiki and other net sources. Please chime in whatever you know! I've not played the game or watched/read the series so please post!

 

Little Busters! began as a Japanese visual novel developed by studio Key in 2007. This studio is also responsible for such games/titles as Kanon, Air, and Clannad. Although the title was originally rated for 'everyone' fan service images lead to the release of an adult themed game Little Busters! Ecstasy in 2008. Kud (Noumi Kudryavka) was so popular as a character that she earned her own spin off of Little Busters! Ecstasy called Kud Wafter which elaborates on her storyline within the series which was released in 2010. There are 8 manga adaptations of the series for you to check out if you have the itch.

 

As a game Little Busters! offers a visual novel style (i.e. question and response sections & narrative) main story but also includes minigames (thinking fighting game scenario, etc) to liven things up and enhance the main story/future battles with stat improving accessories. So I suppose it's story heavy and video game light. I'd love to hear more from someone who's played the original title!

 

Noumi Kudryavka from the Wiki:

Kudryavka Noumi, known as "Kud" (クド Kudo) for short, is a girl who is one quarter Japanese, and three-quarters Russian. Her grandfather was Japanese, and per his influence on her, she came to know much about the Japanese culture, including the language. Despite having a poor handle on the English language, she was able to skip a year in school due to credits obtained through studying abroad, making her the youngest member of the Little Busters. Kudryavka will appear in Key's eighth game, Kud Wafter, as the main heroine.

I don't know anything about the game or character either, but I would love to see her in real life. I want to see what her eyes look like. Either way, she is really cute!

Her outfits are totally supreme. I thought if I bought her I would HAVE to buy all the outfits too.... and she just become really $$$! The detailing on her underwear is so very cute. ~<3 The bat barrette is also completely amazing. I can't wait to see people's photos of her.

 

Given the nature of Kud Wafter, I'd really rather see her on a DDS body. Perhaps this is Kudo from the original series? I'm not sure. Anyhow, she'd make a rad DDS. So cute~

 

A lot of blue eyes from the DD limited recently. It's amazing how they all remain different!

Well I did enter for and win Kudo in the lottery... But I haven't played Little Busters. I just thought she was cute and would be a good friend for my MDD Louise. And those eyes...

 

I am a big fan of the (KyoAni) anime adaptations of Key's other series though. I read up on LB on Wiki and the story sounds interesting. Not sure what to make of Kud Wafter... Aoi would hit me with one of her swords if I did anything naughty with Louise or Kudo, and I'm pretty sure that would apply to eroges too.

Congratulations again, Galvatim. I can't wait to see Louise and Kudo playing together. They are going to be so cute!

I am so happy for you! I cannot wait to see pictures. I think she is such a charming MDD and I was hard pressed to decide between Beato and Kudo. She comes with the cutest outfits.... did you enter for any of the alternate clothes as well?

I really wanted to enter for her outfits, but two things stoped me: Lack of funds, and I have never won more than one Dollfie/item no matter how many I enter for... I might see if I can grab the blue and pink outfits in the international lottery, since Kudo and Louise would look really cute in matching outfits like that...

Yeah, Kudo has some of the best MDD outfits out there. She's so cute. I've probably said this 20 million times but: take lots of pictures, please!!!

I forgot to enter the international lottery for Kudo's outfits! It's ok though, there are quite a few MDD outfits on Volks USA that I like, so I'll be sure to stock up Louise's wardrobe. And I'll be sure to take lots of pics!

Ok, I've got to ask, is her given name Noumi or is it Kudryavka? Many here call her Noumi, but her nickname in the game, and how she is referred to on some other sites, is Kud/Kudo. I'm more curious than anything else.

Kudryavka is her surname, I believe, since she is theoretically Russian and Noumi is her first name. Kud or Kudo is her nickname since Kudryavka-san is difficult to say and I am thinking in Japan to call her Noumi would be too informal for most unless they were family, married etc.
