denaliwind Posted April 15, 2012 Hello all I've been collecting BJDs since 2006, but have recently decided to take the plunge into the Dollfie Dream world! What a different, but exciting experience for me. I'm planning on a #6 head, and the DD Sister body... I've decided to take the hit and spend the extra cash to assemble her myself... now I'm just "patiently" waiting for everything to come in stock! I already have 3 different hand expressions waiting for her, 2 outfits, 2 wigs, 2 pairs of shoes and 3 pairs of eyes. >.<; (I sold off a BJD to help pay for all this, haha) I've gone through a lot of BJDs in the past, but I'm really hoping this girl sticks around. I've painted lots and lots of resin kiddos, but never vinyl, nor in anime style, so I'm really excited to try it out and experiment. ^_^ I also can't wait to take lots of pictures, I think I'll have a lot of fun posing my DD. baldylox Posted April 15, 2012 Welcome aboard! It sounds like you already have plenty of stuff ready for your new project girl! An 06 head on a DDS body will be really cute. I hope all your faceup plans go well for her. We have lots of faceup artists here on the forum so if you have any questions with doing a vinyl head, feel free to ask. I know it's different from resin so don't feel like you can't ask around. People are very friendly here and will be glad to help if they can. I still plan on purchasing the 06 head when it's available and will definitely like to purchase the Sister body in the future too. Anyway, Yukino arrived on Wednesday and she's amazing.
