lovelyduckie Posted March 25, 2011 Hi Everyone, DD's first caught my eye when they announced Yoko/Nia, it was difficult for me to turn away from trying to buy them but I simply didn't have the money from spending so much on figures. But everyone around me wouldn't let me forget about DD's and I was forced to see pictures that made me swoon for years. In the meantime I acquired a few Pullips in addition to figures. My finances stabilized this March and wouldn't you know it...I found out about Beatrice. I'm a fan of Higurashi and Beatrice is probably the DD that's the best fit for me since Yoko/Nia. Her stock was jaw dropping and when I took a close look at her face...I really liked the mature smirk/smile I saw. I took a few weeks to think over if was ready to own a DD and decided to enter my name in the VolksUSA lottery But I lost the lottery for her uniform, trying again in the international lottery tomorrow. But even if I don't win the uniform, just having Beato is more than enough. PS - If a Rider DD is released I'd probably put in for her as well. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Congrats on winning Beatrice! I think she is a really beautiful DD. I wish I had the funds to afford her but I could not. But I'll live vicariously thru others who share pictures online! Thanks to everyone's advice in the Newbie thread I already almost have everything I need to welcome Beato and display her while protecting against staining. Also *drumroll* I managed to find her an entire alternate outfit already thanks to the Azone 60 cm SAR outfit advice! I just hope my pictures live up to my enthusiasm!
