Dollfie Dream Tsumiki Miniwa - Acchi Kocchi

I haven't gotten around to watching Acchi Kocchi, but I adore this character. I am in the process of affording (ACK!) a MDD for her body, but I am curious if you guys could help me with the other things involved.

 

What head should I go with? Volks or SQLABS?

Also, what wigs? I have a nice Miruya wig and would be willing to shop with them again, but their colors seem a bit off!

Maybe you can find a custom on YJA! ^_^ Something similar to an expression of what your looking for but I do agree on the wig. it's gonna be a bit tough >_

If you get a blank one done by a customizer they can sand off the fang for you (or you could be brave and do it yourself!) so it's a perfect fit.

 

As for wigs, Ersa Flora currently has Happy Camille pre-orders open, I think one of the purple shades matches very well: http://ersaflora.ipower.com/?p=586 A basic straight wig with a bit of styling would work! The ears I'm not sure about, I've seen kitsune/neko ears but no purple ones. Maybe with a bit of craftiness you could make them yourself?

Hee hee ^^. All joking aside though, I totally get why you want a custom Tsumiki too, although I can't believe you haven't watched Acchi Kocchi yet!

 

If you're not sure which head to go with yet then I really think you should watch some of the series first to get a better feel for her expressions and personality. There's so much more to her then just the cut face you'll see in the screen shots. I think that after watching, you'll have a much better idea of how to make her.

 

Now I don't want to be mean, but I'm not going to give you ideas on which heads to use, because I already have made up my mind on how I want to go about it, so I don't want to give my vision away before its even made it into reality. I would however like to wish you all the best in making her, I'd love to see pictures when you're done!

 

As far as the wig is concerned, to mimic Tsumiki's hair, the wig will need a lot of styling to it regardless, so I would just find a colour match you are happy with, then just buy the longest, straightest wig you can and style it from there.
