baldylox Posted April 22, 2012 (edited) Talk about flattering..... As some of you may, or may not know, I am a moderator on another doll forum. On that forum, I oversee all the vinyl doll areas. I'm not super active there because it's still a new site and our member count isn't high yet. But I do make posts there like I do here.... showing my girls and their adventures. A user there that goes by "foxfairybjd" emailed me the other day asking me a rather odd question. She wanted to know if it would be okay for her to draw my girls. I was really caught off guard because I had no idea WHY someone would want to do that in the first place. So after a few messages back and forth, I felt confident in letting her do this. Over the weekend, foxfairy drew SIX of my girls! I was blown away by the talent she displayed. The drawings are VERY stylized but they still have my girls feel to them. I was totally flabbergasted at seeing what she had come up with for my girls. I'm still kind of stunned about this happening. But I asked her if I could share these drawings of hers with friends and she said sure, no problem. So now I present to you six of my girls, as seen by foxfairy! First up we have Rei. Since Rei has a strong personality and is shown in many of my stories, she got done first. She looks very confident here but that sly smile of hers shows that maybe she is up to something. reiwipdone by balldylox, on Flickr Next up was Mashiro. I wanted to see her done to see how foxfairy would do her ears. She turned out super sweet looking and very cute! mashirowipdone by balldylox, on Flickr Third we have Sprout. Manami presented a bit of a challenge in that foxfairy wasn't sure how to do sexy and cute at the same time. But I think this rendering works really well. The more I look at it, the more I like it. manamiwipdone by balldylox, on Flickr Yoko presented a challenge in colors. Getting her eye and hair color right required a few tries. If you mean what site is this girl showing her drawings, that's just Photobucket. If you are asking what OTHER forum she is on, where I met her and where I mod, it's here: www.dovetreebjd.com That forum is for ANY ball jointed dolls including DD's. They also have spaces for resins and all sorts of other styles. You do have to join in order to see anything on the site but the site owner is pretty fast about allowing people on.
