AnnaOctober Posted November 17, 2012 Re: blackmercury OMG, I was so in love with this figure back when it came out. >w< Jealous, jealous~haha I was into PVC before resin and vinyl....so I've hoarded quiet a lot old photos over the year. 2 photos I took 2 or 3 years ago: Makise Kurisu: Lena Sayer: Took a long break due to dolly stuff, I barely bought any PVC during this time. 2 photos I took this year: Akira: Saber:

baldylox Posted December 7, 2012 Finnleo, those RC car pics are awesome! I used to be heavy into RC and ran some big offroaders. One of which I just happened to take pics of with my own style race queens. DSC02411 by balldylox, on Flickr That's a Traxxas Rustler with jacked up suspension and a full brushless system. That was one fun truck. Billy I gave up counting the girls I own, they keep multiplying and won't stop.
battrastard Posted December 7, 2012 On the topic of RC cars...... Back in April of 2010, before I really got bit by the figure bug, I only had Meiko and Saber, who were very competitive...... IMG_8301 by rattbastard, on Flickr After seeing who had the faster car, they decided to upgrade, size-wise........ IMG_8309 by rattbastard, on Flickr Meiko getting her fave color, "Ticket Me Red" IMG_8310 by rattbastard, on Flickr While Saber went for the Tuner/Drifter style. But, of course, that wasn't good enough......... IMG_8313 by rattbastard, on Flickr So, Saber decides that flat tracks are ok, but this baby really slings the mud!! IMG_8328 by rattbastard, on Flickr But, this time, Meiko got the last word!! "Madness takes it's toll, Please have exact change!"
baldylox Posted December 7, 2012 AWESOME! Seeing Saber and Meiko with those big trucks was so cool! It's great to see that others besides me like RC cars and trucks. Billy 1 I gave up counting the girls I own, they keep multiplying and won't stop.
finnleo Posted December 7, 2012 Finnleo, those RC car pics are awesome! I used to be heavy into RC and ran some big offroaders. Heh, thanks.. besides the brushless setup Robitronic ETC in the pictures I still have a few other cars besides these, a vintage Kyosho USA-1 electric monster truck thats a bit worse for wear, a nitro Traxxas Revo LWB, and a Tamiya 1/10 mini which has a brushless setup and is wicked fun. I have few of those GSR character sticker sets still, and thinking of what body and car to put them on, for instance he ZnT Louise set I have could probably go nicely on a pearl pink/white dual color mini, but will have to see... on the RC front im looking either to get a new 1/10 touring base, or perhaps finally get a park flyer since I've had a plane radio set for years just collecting dust. RedLion Posted December 9, 2012 Since it's snowing in Korea, I decided to risk it and take one while no one's around IMGP0251 by Knifapalooza, on Flickr It was only a quick snap. Unfortunately her headset's mouthpiece was lost in the snow and I couldn't find it anywhere after that. Time to let the OCD and trauma of losing it set in D= Edit: FOUND IT Nendo Girls attack~! by Knifapalooza, on Flickr
SchroedingersCat Posted December 9, 2012 Edit: FOUND IT Thank The Divine Will of the Universe for that! It always kills me when bits of models break off and go missing. I'm glad you found it. Love the Snow Miku nendos. But hey, anything Miku is cool. Now with +/- 15% more uncertainty!

finnleo Posted January 3, 2013 On the figure front, this is probably streching it a bit, it still a figure in a box, within a box, with figures behind it... but just wanted to share the amusement: I knew that the box for this was silly, but after the mailman handed it over, I have to admit, that nearly two feet on each side, the shipping box was really.. hilarious: One Ultima Madoka get. A couple of years ago(when I was an IT store man) I received this box that was about a full square metre, and weighed almost nothing. Within this box, was another box surrounded by packing foam, and then within that box were twelve more smaller boxes, each of which contained... A single A4 sized sheet of paper. Apparently someone at IBM thought it would be funny to send a dozen licences individually boxed. Now with +/- 15% more uncertainty!

Apparently someone at IBM thought it would be funny to send a dozen licences individually boxed. Ha ha! That's awesome! I know this is a bit off topic but since this is related to boxes . I used to work at a retail store that got in big pallets of electronics like TV's. We got a full pallet of 25 inch tube TV's ( this was YEARS ago ), there were prolly 20 or more TV boxes on that pallet. We were selling these TV's for cheap as a promotion and after a week we were down to only a few TV's. I went back to grab one from the last row of the pallet and when I picked up the box, it felt.... wrong. It had weight to it but it wasn't like the rest of them. I went and grabbed my shipping guy and had him inspect it. We opened the box up and inside we found the packing for a TV with all the styrafoam in there but where the TV was supposed to be was.... A large plastic bag filled with sand. Now mind you, it was the EXACT weight of a boxed TV, we checked it just for fun. Somebody, somewhere along the way nabbed a TV and went to some lengths to make sure it wasn't noticed as missing from a pallet. That became legendary in our store and as you can see, it's still talked about. Billy I gave up counting the girls I own, they keep multiplying and won't stop.
