Hello from Sydney, Australia :)

Hello everyone!

My name is Lauren, but I go by Taralphiel (here and on most other forums, Den of Angels in particular).

I've been into resin ball-jointed dolls since 2005, and in 2010 I started to notice and appreciate Dollfie Dreams. Last year I finally took the plunge and ordered a DDH-04 with a normal skin body. It's been love ever since! Once I get my posting limit up, I'll be sure to post pictures of Kaede.

I'm currently out of a job ( ) but when I get a steady wage going again, I'm considering another DD, or an SQ labs girl. I find such a refreshing difference b/w DD's and resin dolls. The weight and handling ease are just the beginning!

I hope to get to know a few people here and learn more about these lovely girls.

Welcome! I started off with ABJDs first as well, but when I got my first Dollfie Dream I just knew they were perfect for me.

Thanks for the welcome! It's good to know there are people that came to DD's the same way.

I don't think I'll ever give up on the resin ABJD hobby. But I do think I'll enjoy being a DD fan at the same time

Hi!

I can't wait to see pictures of your Kaede. That is a pretty name, I was considering naming my newest girl (DDS Ms. Mariko) that, but then I decided on Kareha.

I want to get an SQ Labs head as well, I just need to save up for it.

Hi Lauren!

I recognize your username from DoA - welcome to this forum too!

The 04 head is adorable - I'm looking foward to seeing some pictures of Kaede too!

I love seeing more resin owners incorporating DD's into their collections. My first doll was a Volks SD16, and DD's handle so differently! Although I still love resins, my doll family is mostly DD girls ^_^"

Welcome to the forum~

Glad to hear you getting into DDs. Resin owners are normally very surprised by how light they weigh and how well they pose X3

A DDH-04 is a great choice for your first DD.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone! I'm glad 04 is so popular here. She's a great sculpt.

After some consideration, an SQ labs girl looks to be the next thing in my future. But I'm pretty sure she'll be on a DD small bust body. I love the bodies, and as the resin BJD owners have already said, it's such a nice difference.

Looking forward to getting to know you all better!
