DarkAvenger696 Posted May 1, 2012 Hi I'm new to the forums and to Dollfie's but I have FINALLY decided to take the jump and buy one... I really like the Dollfie Dream Dynamite body but it seems like there arn't alot of clothes or wigs for that body type yet =/ so are there more clothes and things out there and I'm just not looking in the right place or? I hope to find out more about Dollfie's from many of you guys on the forum so I can pick the perfect one for me ^__^ I look forward to meeting and talking to many of you and finally getting my FIRST Dollfie after wanting one for over 3 years >____< also feel free to call me Kai Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
baldylox Posted May 1, 2012 Welcome aboard Kai! Glad to hear you're wanting a DDdy girl! I love the ones I have. All wigs that fit regular DD's will fit a DDdy since the heads are all interchangeable. The sizing you want is usually between 9 and 9 1/2. You'll also want to look into getting a wig cap, either a cloth one or a silicone one to help keep the wig on her head nicely. And if it's a dark wig, the wig caps will help prevent staining. As for clothing, there is PLENTY of stuff out there for the DDdy body. DarkAvenger696 Posted May 2, 2012 O___O Thanks so much Baldylox the only thing that was really keeping me from picking the DDdy body was that I couldn't seem to find clothes anywhere or a good variety of wigs XD and yeah I was already thinking I'd get some kind of head cap to prevent staining and keep in on her head...I saw some body covers to do you suggest those or are they more of a hindrance? baldylox Posted May 2, 2012 I would say that two years ago, when I first got my DDdy girl Manami, clothing was VERY hard to find. Nightfall was one of the first people making aftermarket clothing for them. But now they are way more popular and more people are making stuff to fit them. So don't worry, you'll always be able to find things for your DDdy girl. And you're welcome. I'm all about helping get a DDdy girl clothed properly. DarkAvenger696 Posted May 3, 2012 OH wow so many people saying Hi ^___^ thanks for such a nice welcome ^__^ @Arienette Oh cool good to know that SD16 fits sometimes, and haha I would loooove to grab a character doll but all the ones I want are long gone *sigh* so I'm thinking something custom to my taste (tho I am still hunting a good price for a Yoko or Saber lol) I figure I might throw a bid into the lotto on Volks that's coming up so yea I figure I'd look around if I cant find a character doll in my price range then I'm gonna get myself a DDdy body ^___^ and create a kind of gothic lolita look XD PS O___O I have no idea where to start on the forums it's soooo overwhelming!
