Kitty Airy's Cat Eyes

I've mentioned getting some cat eyes for Airy before... Well, I went ahead and did it!

These are 20 mm from Volks. I was worried they'd be too small, but I think the size is all right.

I'm going to pick up some more eye putty soon, the putty Airy has now isn't sticking so well.

I really like Kitty Airy. She's adorable as always. But if she were mine, I'd keep her green eyes she had before. The new blue cat eyes don't look bad at all tho, I like them. But I just prefer those greens on her for some reason. Maybe it's because I'm used to seeing her like that, I dunno.

 

Either way you decide to have her, she's damn cute!

Thanks! I actually really wanted to get green cat eyes for her, but Volks didn't have any, and I wanted them now!

 

I do have a story reason for giving her cat eyes though (besides her apparent love of kitty cosplay), which is that Airy put on those same kitty ears Aoi had some trouble with.

I prefer her with her old green eyes, and not due to the colors. While I'm down with the kitty ears and tail I'm not really a big fan of kitty eyes and a human face, it's never really looked good to me. If you stick with kitty eyes though perhaps one size larger might look a little better, not sure.

 

Of course she's your girl so yours is the only opinion that really matters.

I have to agree with scripple. The kitty eyes do look cool, but the her green ones are the best for her imo.

Airy seems to pull off the cat eye look a lot better than Nanoha! I actually like them, but I think they'd be a little cuter if you angled them upward a bit more, so some of the pupil makes contact with the upper eyelid.

I agree with everyone. The cat eyes look cool in her and I think they are the right size but I still prefer the green ones

I did this up as an idea suggestion. I know it's terrible...

Thanks for your comments, everyone! I think Airy won't have kitty eyes forever. I'll pick up some more putty, the Staples poster tack I'm using seems to only work once, and try adjusting them a little, and eventually she'll get her green eyes back. ...These kitty eyes are just a little creepy...

Actually, that's not a bad idea. I like the smaller pupil too.

I think Airy is really good at pulling off the kitty look with those eyes. It is hard to tell what would make them a touch more natural looking. I think the smaller pupil might help to soften her look a little.

The kitty look is definitely what she's going for! Luckily, it seems to be a temporary thing.

I am sooo voting for an adventure with Kitty Airy! Seeing her "out in the wild" so to speak would be way cute! I recall you having some cool outdoor areas near your place so I bet she would have fun out there.... hiding in the grasses and pouncing on unsuspecting grasshoppers and such. I'm getting all fidgety just thinking about seeing something like that!

I've been away most of the weekend, so I only just got time to mess around with Airy's eyes. Turns out I had some Volks putty left. Which was nice, Staples poster tack is currently getting an "F."

I did attemp to angle them up a little more.

Thanks! Haha, Airy the were-kitty is a purr-fect idea! Her little sis loves vampires after all. I'm sure she'll be getting up to some adventures this week!
