Nana & Kaguya discover 3DS/other toys

Together in the living room, my girls attempted to share their new toy. ^^;;;; It didn't go very well but Kaguya is impatient.

Nana recently got a new wig that was a teeny bit more manageable for everyday wear than her pink twin tails.

Thank you both! Mitsuki, I can only hope to be as successful as you are with your photos. You truly 'outdo' yourself every single time. Anouc, it totally is that version! The thing I like best about her is seeing everyone's different "take" on her. It's completely fascinating and she makes anything look really good- so even i can make her fairly pretty. ^^

It's always fun to see Dollfies playing video games! Nana and Kaguya are both very cute!

Thank you all! I appreciate all the comments. I'm just staring out in this hobby so I don't take a lot of pictures yet.... well my camera is crap too but I am working on that one.

 

Billy, the DD02 repaint... I've never really "bonded" with a doll before? (Don't tell Kaguya, I had her first.) it was actually Nana arriving and how sweet her face is that made their personalities work. They kind of help to define each other? Anyhow, the DD02 repaint of Aoi- I like Aoi but she always looked so mean. Now I wonder if I should buy one so she can have her sister around to bully Kaguya....

I was lucky with Manami, my first girl. She and I bonded immediately. Don't tell her sisters but she will always be my favorite daughter.

 

I do have an 02 girl, Rei Ayanami. She was actually the prototype for the 02 Aoi head. I used to think Rei always looked a bit mad too but after owning her for a while, I see her nicer qualities emerging and she doesn't look angry much at all anymore. She's quite the cute girl to me now.

 

I know what you mean about Aoi looking mad or mean. Her basic faceup does seem to be the "miffed" look but lots of people seem to like it. I used to not like her much but after seeing so many of them in pictures and how they all differ so much, I really like Aoi's basic Volks faceup.

 

The new 02 painted version is a big difference tho and I totally love how she looks so much more gentle and sweet. Your Nana is quite cute! And bonding with your girls is important for them and you because that way you can all grow and change together.

 

Adding another Aoi to the mix might be fun! Family dynamics can either work well or work badly. And I just mean that some families will have all girls that get along and others will have one or two girls that are the "bullies" or ring leaders that are outspoken or obnoixious. Nothing wrong with that if it's what you are looking for. *Someone* has to be the bad guy right?

Yes, original Aoi has grown on me quite a bit. I do like that she is distinctly different from any other face I have ever seen. she really does have her own personality which just makes you want to hug her more because she seems slightly grumpy. I wish Volks would do a grumpy limited character. I would buy it in a heartbeat!

 

I didn't actually bond with my dolls until Nana arrived. It was really odd how her addition defined everyone's role. I'd love to add her twin but I think I am going to have to buy a body for Kaguya because I want to make the HDD-01 limited I am getting into a MDD. I guess I could have two MDDs. I'm going to have to get serious about buying clothes soon instead of adding more dolls. >_<

I don't think I need to go into how much I love Aoi... I wish Volks would do a grumpy limited character too! Especially Haruhi, not that I dislike the Haruhi Volks aready made, I just think she should either have a big "D" smile or a grumpy face.
