Kaguya and Nana's present portends ominous events!

So I have a present for you girls... take your time opening it, please! Be careful!

Kaguya: Wait, what is this??? A weapon?! I don't even have a decent set of street clothes and you bought a weapon?!

 

Me: Well, it wasn't really my first choice but it was so cool and I think it might be a good idea.

Nana: I feel safer having it back in this sheath. It's an awfully large sword. What are we going to need this for?

 

Me: Well, you're getting this new sister soon.... ^^;;;;

 

Nana: New... sister? I just got here a month ago. Why would we need this for her? O_o

 

Kaguya: New sister? Another one? T-T

Me: Well, she's kind of got this complicated story. I think Nana should probably see a bit of it before she comes to live with us.

 

Kaguya: Well, this sword is obviously mine. I need to figure out what to 'wham' with it... and how.

Thank you! it's my first photo story ever so it was kind of tough? ^^;;; Once I got into it, it was totally fun! Thanks again for the comment, you're very sweet.

Aww, Nana is so cute! She is trying to be protective of Kaguya but Kaguya is all about that sword! WHAM!

 

I think you did really well for your first photostory! The posing is good and so are the setups. They really seem to give off the "feel" of moving themselves around and that's not easy to pull off.

And I forgot to mention, that its an excellent title. I have a hard time with titles...

Hahahahaha.... thank you! I had fun and went the route of taking too many pictures and just pulling a few for keyframes which was really helpful. I actually learned a lot from looking at the photo stories on the site, so thank you to all of you who make photo stories and made my first attempt that much better. ^^

 

Now I just need to stop buying dolls and buy doll clothes instead..... ^^;;;;;;;;

I went the route of taking too many pictures and just pulling a few for keyframes which was really helpful. I actually learned a lot from looking at the photo stories on the site, so thank you to all of you who make photo stories and made my first attempt that much better.

 

I was told years ago by one of my art teachers that if you take 100 photos and only one of them is a keeper, it's worth it. I wasn't sure what she meant until I started taking pics of my Dollfies. I usually take TWICE as many pictures as you wind up seeing in the final post. I take all sorts of angles with different settings on my camera and then look at them all when I am done with a photoshoot. I then pick and choose which shots look best and delete all the others. As long as I can keep about 40% of my pics from a shoot, I'm happy.

 

And looking at others posts also helped me out too. Seeing how others were posing their girls gave me ideas I hadn't had before. So you are doing the right things.... keep up the good work!
