Hello everyone!

I just foud this forum recently ( didn't even know there was one for DDs! ).

I've been a doll nerd for many years, but I have only actually took the plunge to buy a Mdd this year.

I guess I couldn't resist the cute anymore..and the DDh-01 head was in stock again!..but for now the poor thing will be a floater! (like in a floating head)

Still waiting for the mdd bodies to be in store again, not sure if the new ones have been released yet?

As you can see I'm quiet the newbie in this area. So it'll be nice to be a part of a forum where people with the same interest in these dolls hang out!

Welcome, and congrats on your first "adoption"! I think Volks claimed that the new MDD bodies are supposed to be released standard sometime this summer. Hopefully they'll be able to stick to schedule, but if not, there's also Parabox's 43cm body you could stick her on.

 

And in the meantime, you can have quite a bit of fun with floating heads, so long as you're willing to embrace the morbid side of your sense of humor.

Welcome aboard! Glad to see you like the 01 head girls. Those are hands down my favorites.... I have 3 of them.

 

Poofie is right about the new MDD bodies supposedly being available this summer. We all hope they stick to schedule and release them because the new version is supposed to be way more stable than the older one was. Cirno is being released on this new version so hopefully we will start seeing owner pics of her soon.

I actually been trying the head out on my tiniy bjds' bodies! It looks hillarious! but my sense of humor might be a bit special I guess...

Yup it seems like I might have to wait til the summer. I went into the Volks store here in Tokyo and asked. However, I did manage to grab the "punch" hands! ^__^

Ooh I'll look into parabox, didn't know their dolls and Volks could match well, thank you for the tip!

I think the H01 head is really cute. Must be my favorite alongside the H06 ^__^

Seems like we'll have to wait a little bit longer for the MDD body though.

Yeah, I saw Cirno at the Dolpa. I got in a conflict with myself whether to buy her on not..in the end I decided to not buy her and go with my initial plan to buy a MDD body for my floating head.

Now that I think about it, maybe I should have bought Cirno, just for the body?..oh well!

Being the owner of 6 DDH-01s and 5 Parabox 40cm bodies I can confirm they're a good match.

 

And yes, I love the 01 heads!

But oh thank you for confirming though. I live about 20mins from the parabox shop, so I'm sure I can go there and take a look. thank you again! ^^
