A bag full of Dollfie-sized goodness (Part 2 of 2)

This time with 100% more loot Some cheese-cakey shots that might be marginally NSFW.

 

First up is chief instigator Zoe in a punky-type t-shirt from Azone:

Zoe shows off a bit more in this white vinyl outfit (3rd party commission sale through Volks). Bit cute and sexy at the same time.

 

 

 

M just goes for pure sexy:

 

 

 

Zoe loves the red jacket from one of the Dolpa vendors. It should go well with several of her outfits.

 

 

Aya also likes the look as it's a good punk rocker jacket.

 

 

Once I saw this at another of the Dolpa vendors, I HAD to get it for Tia.

 

 

Green goes well on Tia.

 

 

Tia: Does this really suit me, goshujin-sama?

 

Of course, it's not bad at all on Saber either.

 

 

Zoe shows off the watch bought at Dolks.

 

 

Aya does as well, in game-show model style.

Then, she dresses up a bit in this lovely straw hat from a Dolpa vendor.

 

 

Tia also looks very cute in it.

 

 

Harking back to her Fate Zero look, Saber looks quite dapper in this dress-up set.

 

 

She can also toss off the jacket for a bit more casual style.

 

 

Phyla shows that she can pull off the dress suit look as well.

 

 

Bought this OOAK t-shirt and mini-skirt set off a Dolpa vendor's Saber Alter. Had to have it to let Saber show off her heritage.

 

 

The top isn't revealing enough for M, but Rinrin is also willing to show off her English pride.

 

 

I'm not sure if Tia could be a good nurse or not, mainly because of dealing with blood, but she certainly looks cute in this Volks nurse outfit.

 

 

Tia: Buh...blood? *starts swaying*

 

While Aya goes for more of the naughty nurse look.

 

 

Aya: You seem a bit flushed.

 

M shows off that she is indeed a magical girl in this cosplay outfit from a Dolpa vendor.

 

 

And shows off other things as well.

 

 

Had trouble convincing anyone else to try on the outfit (especially after everyone else found out M was commando wearing it), but eventually she needled her little sister into trying it.

 

 

Saber: This is a bit embarrassing.

 

Rinrin goes bunny girl in this Azone outfit.

 

 

 

Rinrin: Do you like my fluffy tail? I think it's cute.

 

Tia remembers that she needs to do some gardening with this watercan from Azone.

 

 

While Rinrin shows off a mini-skirt from Azone:

 

 

Phyla shows off a dress suit that I found for almost nothing at Dolly-teria.

 

 

Phyla: This one find this suit a bit restrictive.

 

 

Phyla: Removing the outer garment restores much of the lost mobility.

 

Saber: Oh my!

 

Saber seems to have been distracted while dressing by the next item: A sword sold through commissions at the Akihabara Volks store (the vendor was also at Dolpa).

 

 

Saber: This is a fine blade indeed.

 

 

Saber: Superbly made. The blade is tough yet light.

 

 

Saber: And the balance is perfect!

 

Meanwhile, Zoe tries on a Volks jacket.

 

 

Zoe: Sweet, this is nice.

 

M goes for a...different look..with it.

 

 

M: Hello, there, Mr. Quarterback. Ready to score another home run?

Zoe: Ack! I'm going to have to boil it now!

 

Rinrin shows off one of the less slutty outfits from Yamato.

 

 

Aya threatens to kill anyone that tries to touch HER new dress from Volks.

 

 

Aya: Darling, want to dance?

 

 

Rinrin tries on an outfit from TCDoll (sold through the Azone store).

 

 

I know my friend Baakay will point out that Rinrin is obviously cold, but don't worry...

 

 

It has a jacket as well.

 

Zoe proves that she can clean up well on occasion in this Volks outfit.

 

 

While Saber always looks good.

 

 

In another outfit from TCDoll, Rinrin looks like she walked out of a cheesy 70s sci-fi flick:

 

 

Rinrin: Maybe you should call me "Rinrinrella".

 

 

At the Volks store, they had a Saber dressed in one of the boys Steampunk outfits in an obvious ploy to sell them to DD owners and clear their inventory. What can I say but that it worked? Here's M showing off as a woman in a man's steampunk world.

 

 

M: So, the frammistat attaches to the whatsit.

 

Then, she blows the illusion by opening her mouth.

 

 

The highlight are these snazzy boots sold as a commission through Volks:

 

 

So, at this point, energy levels were low, so have a few group shots of the remaining loot. First up are the props.

 

 

Leftmost is a huge knife from Carbon Equip (a Dolpa Vendor). Next are sets of cooking tools and gardening tools found at Azone. Rightmost is a huge McDonalds sandwich above a Pentax camera.

 

Next is footwear:

 

 

Top row: unknown brown shoes found at K-books, Azone sandals, brown boots that I forgot where I picked them up at.

Bottom row: unknown white shoes found a K-books, vmf50 boots found as a commission sale at Azone, DD boots found as a commission sale at Volks.

 

The last part is the wigs. I will highlight one simply because it's a size that only Rinrin can wear, so I know who will wear it. Found a Crobidoll wig at Dolks that I liked.

 

 

Gives her even more of the cheesy 70s sci-fi look, doesn't it?

Top left is a grey wig bought at Mandarake.

Top right is a Miku-type wig bought as a commission sale through Volks (the vendor was at Dolpa as well).

Bottom left is a blonde/pink wig bought from Miruya at the Dolpa.

Bottom right is a wig/tail combo bought from a Dolpa vendor.

 

So, what do all you like? Which outfits/items do you think work the best?

WOW! Your girls really did hit the mother load!

 

My favorite of all the outfits has to be Tia's green maid outfit. It's just so perfect on her! And all the DD sized props are fabulous as well. My favorite out of those is the McDonald's sandwich because I so dearly want one haha. But I also love all the cookware! Also super jealous of the wig & tail combo. Had I known such an array of dealers attended Dolpa (since I thought it was just Volks official items) then I would have told Natalie to pick me up a pair, definitely good to know for next time!

 

Also I had a question about this:

I noticed you said this about several items that your purchased. So I'm curious how a commission sale through Volks/Azone works if you don't mind explaining it

I like the "so what" shirt and the bunny outfit the best. Although the bunny outfit would probably look better if you gave the ears at least a little bit of a bend. The British set is nice too, although that's one awfully short skirt.

 

I'm guessing the cooking utensils are for Tia. Can't see any of your other girls putting in the effort to use them, at least not correctly. (Thinking RinRin here. )

So, check out the website beforehand and you might be able to find stuff to request. I do remember the wig/tail combo was listed. At Volks, I saw items that were non-Volks items with marking of various websites. When I checked out, they were marking the item #s down in a separate notebook. From this, I concluded that they must have a deal with some 3rd party people where they sell their items and take a fee from the sales. I later saw many of the same/similar items at vendor tables at Doll Party. Similarly, I saw the TCdoll and other items in a separate section at Azone.

 

@scripple: Hmm..I'll have to try the bend. And yeah, the skirt is really short (the one reason why Saber is a bit hesitant to wear it). The cooking utensils are mostly for Tia, but Saber is also a decent cook and was the housekeeper until Tia showed up.

Ah thanks so much! I'll definitely make sure to check for dealer's list for future Dolpas so I can get someone to do a pick-up service for me (or maybe one day go myself ). And that makes sense about the commission items! It's really neat that the Volks stores there carry stuff from 3rd party people!

Wow, you and your girls got so much great stuff! They must be over the moon! Such amazing loot though, I'd love to go to Japan and do all that stuff, but I don't know any Japanese so I'll probably never get there XD

Great haul of stuff! I loved RinRin's white sci-fi outfit, especially with the new wig. She looks very Barbarella-ish. I suppose that outfit wouldn't fit a DDdy? I could imagine my Kanu in it.

@aquilla49: I know very little (words and phrases). It's not that bad to get around as the trains/subways/etc. are also labeled in English for the most part and most major businesses have people that can speak at least some English.

 

@battrastard: Unfortunately, they'll probably be back to their normal rambunctiousness sooner rather than later

 

@PrettyCranium: No. It wouldn't fit a DDdy. VMF50s are a bit smaller than DDs and as you can tell, the outfit is skin-tight. TCDoll used to make DD versions of those outfits. In fact, I have a black version of the first one that Zoe likes to wear. But now, they seem to mainly focus on VMF50 clothing with the occasional DD outfit. This is quite the impressive haul for sure. I can't adequetely explain what I'd like to here so I'll comment bomb you over on FFM instead!

 

But here, I'll just say that you have good taste in clothes and accessories for your girls. And you spoiled the hell out of them for sure. I totally approve and commend you on a job well done!

PS. The white outfits on Rinrin are just damn fine. I had no clue she was so well "built" before seeing her in these.

I've been curious what the male steampunk outfits would look like on a DD. I really appreciate the pics for that reason.
