Ok I'm new here...and I admit I have no clue at all about those cute dolls!! Why I am here you ask? Wellll short story is ...my autistic daughter loves all cute things and jsut found out about these dolls...my daughter is 9 yo, she wants a doll to take pictures of it and dress...I guess like every girl does x3

But now I have NO clue ...I googled and found websites with different types of dolls...painted and enourmous expensive D: and unpainted...but I wouldn't dare to paint them xD Which models or types would you recommend for a beginner like her? Where do I buy them...and maybe won't put a fortune in it? I'm really thankful for any kind of help in this ... cause what I found via google was more confusing than helpful xD

I think Dollfies are definitely not starter dolls: they're big, expensive, and fragile. If you don't handle them properly there are tons of issues that can come up: cracked joints, staining, scratched faceup, broken eyes, torn wigs, etc. They're not really dolls for "playing" which it seems like you are looking for.

I think a good starting place for a young doll collector who likes "cute" would be American Girl Dolls. I was totally obsessed with them around that age, and they are definitely child-friendly! They also have detailed backstories, personalities, and a ton of accessories that are easy to find. They're also a lot more affordable!

DD Family: Mari, Saber Lily, Marisa, Soniko, Noumi, Kirino, Kuroneko, Sakura (DD Sakuno), Aerie, Akira, Kiki, Koko, Rose (DDS Mariko), Kureha, Ryoko, Lucy, Haruka, Rise, Extra & Alter!

Aww thanks for your answer but ... nope I am in fact looking for THOSE dolls....my girl is autsitic she is NOT playing like a kid!! She has aspergers...well its hard to explain...she is like a 30 yo in a body of a 9yo And if I would buy her a doll that you suggested well...she would find them ugly...shes not playing with "baby stuff" as she would call it...sometimes hard to accept I admit...She is already collecting Nendoroids and other things and she keeps them in showcases all over the house lol

I thought about those 1/6 Dollfies.. they don't seem that huge? I just want one that don't has massive boobies and is a good start for her...is this a good offer? http://www.ebay.com/itm/DollLove-1-6-girl-super-dollfie-size-bjd-Yoyo-/300568259149?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item45fb43aa4d#ht_14268wt_1163 and do I need to know something important about them? I am willed to pay alot but not like 700 bucks for her first doll xD although we are in germany...so I will need to find a shop which is shipping here :/
