I have never read Lord of the rings. I love the trilogy and LOTR have been on my reading list since high school LOL. I just have never found the time for some reason. I've read the whole GoT series, and while they are long, they were not particularly difficult or tedious reads. Go for it! Like you, I wanted to find out what happened after the first season. I know I want to know what happend on the 2nd season but I don't have HBO so I will need to wait until the dvd set comes out. I keep wobbling between that and K-On when I want something light-hearted XD She looks like she could fit right in. But would she be the studious one or the video game playing one? It's a cute light hearted series. Hmm, Aya would be into anime, mostly voice acting. So she'd fit right in. Good choice, it looks good on her, even if it's too hot for socks. XD Thanks!
