Uhm, yeah. It's a strange topic I open, this time.

I don't know precisely how to explain the feeling I have in my mind...

...first of all, I am a n00b. I know, it. Sorry.

This is a good start, I think.

I have the impression that I haven't caught the sympathy of someone of you from the very beginning.

Why? Maybe because, in the euphoria of the moment, when I started this hobby, I was a little crazy "parsley" (it's a way we use in my country to define people that replies everywhere, chats a lot, etc.), often asking for things, being n00b, wanting to buy everything but never had the money to do it.

I have various (and legit) explanations, but I don't want to find stupid justifications, in this post. Recently I understood that in the near past I did some things I could avoid, etc. So I just want to ask you all sorry if I bothered somehow. Really, it wasn't my intention to be unpleasant, with no one!

Then, I want to thank you a lot: I found wonderful people here, too. People that, even if I was such a great n00b, spent some of their time to chat with me, and we did great chats in which we known each other. I refer in particular Mitsuki and Ilvias. But I had short and nice talks with many members I'd love to quote here: Anouc, Chipmunkchen, Kyojie, Littlebearries, Billy, Sakurasylph, etc. (if I forgot someone, sorry! - I'm writing many "sorry" this time!).

I really feel like I am in a great family, in which we all have a part and a role, and I like you all.

Uhm, yeah. Sorry if I seem confused explaining these feelings, but it's a bit hard treating these things, in another language, publicly.

No apologies needed! Everyone needs to start somewhere, and I personally have not been annoyed by your posts in any way. I've enjoyed seeing the DD hobby through the eyes of someone new to it, since it has been a while since I was at that point. And I enjoy the chatting.

I'm curious about this use of 'parsley' and if it has anything to do with how the plant grows (kinda all over the place)?

 

I have a hard time to containing my excitement when I love something too. My intro post was 5 pages I think. Even though I still talk a lot at times, eventually I found the spot where I can be just as happy and excited but have tamed it down to a manageable level so I don't overwhelm everyone (I think...) As another n00b there is so much to learn, do, and see it is really hard not to jump in with both feet. Don't worry, it won't all disappear overnight. If you aren't having fun with DDs, something's not right.

 

I apologize for being rather vague, but I don't really know what happened. I just wanted to let you know that you should be OK as long as you treat people the way you hope to be treated in return. We are just a bunch of friendly people around here from what I have seen, and I love being a part of this forum!

Don't worry so much. I haven't seen you do anything bad here or heard of you upsetting people so I think you'll be just fine. We ALL had to start out somewhere and we all have our "growing pains".

 

As for the forum, it's not the small place it used to be. Not everyone here knows everyone else. It's also hard to keep up with everything that goes on here. So don't think you're the only one who has trouble with it.

 

Also, since English isn't your first language, that can make things more difficult for others to understand what you are trying to say. Just take your time with your posts and comments and you'll be fine. Even tho I'm a native English speaker, I still have to go back thru my comments before I post to make sure I am coherent and make sense. I find I go off on tangents sometimes and lose focus.

Just keep being you, and realize that once in a while we *all* make mistakes... or feel like we've made mistakes... but I think it always feels bigger to us than it does to other people.

Awww you shouldn't feel bad...we all started off not knowing....feel free to chat away and ask as many questions as possible. That is what we are all here for...I am rather new here my self

I agree with everybody else. I've never seen anything you need to apologize for. I think it's great to see people so excited for DDs. Lately I've been very un-excited about the DD hobby and reading posts from excited people helps me get that old "spark" back again.

I agree with Billy. It's sometimes easy to be misunderstood when it's just text on the Internet, even amount native English speakers. I am amazed, and jealous, so many people can speak/write multiple languages - as an American, 1 is about all I can manage it seems. HAHA

 

I also love seeing all the posts from different people around the world.

Just adding my own "don't worry so much" to the pile. I think everyone here gets excited about DDs, if we didn't, we wouldn't be here. And most of us say something annoying from time to time, I know I've often gone back and re-read stuff I posted earlier and was annoyed with myself. All you can do is just relax and remember that no matter what, we've all got at least one thing in common here. Just as long as you don't attack anybody's girls you'll probably be fine.
