Abel Posted May 15, 2012 Hi, everyone! X3 So... my name is Anna (or Abel, which is also my nickname in other forums) and I have just recently gotten into DDs! I've been in the BJD hobby since 2007, so while I'm kinda used to Super Dollfies, I'm a complete newbie with DDs. XD But they've been growing on me for sometime and I hope to learn more about them! :3 I am originally from Brazil, but now it's been 2 years since I've transferred to my University in Providence, RI in the US. So I spend most of my time in America (which is great for there's VolksUSA and the dealers around! XD). I don't have any DD girls with me yet, but I am currently waiting for a Saber Alter 2nd from VolksUSA and Rise Kujikawa from Y!J. And I have to say I am very anxious to see them! ;3;' I will probably only see them by the end of summer, but I already want to photograph them soon. XD I also have some pictures of my Super Dollfies on my Flickr if it interests anyone. I customize them as characters from a story I'm writing (though it's still in Portuguese only... ;3;') and I'm also doing an online comic with a fellow Brazilian BJD collector. x3 Umm, I guess that's pretty much it...? I'll have to make note of you using Abel as a nickname; Battrastard's DD/SQ Labs girl Tana has a pet dragon named Aebelskiver, sometimes abbreviated to Aebel, so I'll have to keep a close eye out for that one extra "e" to make sure I remember which Abel/Aebel I'm talking about! By the way, congrats on Alter and Rise! ^_^ It's always awesome to have new dolls coming in. And looking at your Flikr, I think your new DD girls might be able to share some of their clothes with your SDGr girls. Sometimes it varies depending on the cut/design, but I do know there are some SDGr things that do fit DDs, so it's probably worth trying! In this household, sanity is considered a tresspasser. I thought of maybe just having Saber as VolksUSA did the pre-orders, but Rise was just too beautiful to resist... ;3; Indeed! I believe they will share clothes a lot...
