Tanu-chan Posted May 22, 2012 ^^;; it looks like there's a lot of us. I'm Melissa, or Tanu-chan. I've been lurking for a little while but figured I'd say hello. I currently don't have any DDs, but am browsing for that special one to jump out and shout "buy me!" I do have, however, a number of resin dolls and a decent sized collection of figures and gundam models. I live around the Toronto area, making frequent trips in to visit AgentPanda who I'm friends with :3.

Tanu-chan Posted May 30, 2012 Thank you everyone!! I'm sure I'll find my girl in time. In the meantime I've planned to start gathering things for her to have when she comes home. I really did enjoy the Dollfie Dream panel (and what I got to see of Anime North... I was mostly confined to my painting corner lol). I'd wanted to get a little closer so I could actually see everyone better. I managed a few short trips into the room but I never really got to talk to many people before I had to scurry back and work more.

I absolutely LOVED the faceups you did for Penny and Momiji! Penny made me decide I wanted to ask you to custom paint my next project girl later this year! It's fantastic to see you here! I hope you come out to some of our meets! It's wonderful having new faces and make new friends! ^_^ Please visit my YouTube channel for helpful DD tips, tutorials, and reviews! Carmen is actually the one who did the faceups for Penny and Momiji - she was back there too though! I have to agree her work is beautiful though. I've been wanting to commission her myself for one or two things >.> I'd love to make it out to some meets~. Hopefully there will be one I can come to soon. AgentPanda Posted June 7, 2012 lol we kind of had them both squished in that corner XD both Carmen and Tanu-Chan slaving away painting heads all weekend! Tanu actually painted her very first Vinyl head that weekend though so it was really quite the experience for her from what I heard. we actually auctioned it off with one that carmen did too on sunday. *giggles* Tanu is a bit shy but I also know she is looking at a little MDD of her own, though I cant recall which head she was looking at it was one of the basics... 03 maybe? or was it 04? o__o tanu which one was it? Tanu-chan Posted June 7, 2012 I keep swaying between 01, 03 and 04 but there's this one 04 I keep staring at on Flickr that keeps bringing me back to that one. She's too fantastically cute . There's even one in the forum banner that's staring at me right now. I've run into others that I like too but right now I want to start basic. I'll chase unicorns later :3 I did indeed paint my first vinyl head over the convention weekend~. I had a lot of fun with it though I was slightly obsessed with not having paint/pastel/anything on my hands. And I remember sending Jon up to you to put the head cap back on @_@. I was so close to not being finished at all.
