Morgaine: Now, I shall make everything as it should be!

 

 

Morgaine: No! How can this be?

 

 

Morgaine: How could it all go so wrong?

 

 

Morgaine: I...failed?

 

 

*THUD*

 

 

Saber: Nee-san!

 

 

Tia: Master!

 

 

Saber: Are you ok? What happened?

 

 

Morgaine: It all went wrong again. I can't believe it. How could I fail?

Tia: Master! Are you ok?

 

 

Morgaine: Just weak, Tia. That took a lot out of me.

Saber: What happened, nee-san?

Morgaine: It's hard for me to say.

 

 

Aya: She fucked up.

Zoe: Aya! You're ok!

Saber: Aya! You're awake.

 

 

Aya: She never thinks about others. She probably thought that once she was queen, everyone would do exactly what she said without question or hesitation. Then, when they didn't, she tried to force them and things went to hell.

Saber: Aya, I don't think that nee-san would..

 

 

Morgaine: No, she's right. I failed. All this time, I blame father for everything, but it appears that it was truly me all along. Things turned out even worse. I canceled the spell before it finalized and things reverted back.

Saber: Nee-san.

 

 

Morgaine: The worse things got, the worse I got. The only thing that went right was you. No matter what, you were by my side. You even tried to get me to change. I didn't listen, but you still stood by me to the end.

Saber: Of course. You're my sister.

Morgaine: I should have listened to you.

 

 

Morgaine: And this time, I will. I have just enough energy to try again.

Tia: No, master! Rest!

 

 

*Excalibur fades as Saber draws it into herself*

Morgaine: Art?

Saber: Tia's right. You're too weak and this is too dangerous. I can't let you do this. It's not worth it.

 

 

Morgaine: But I need to fix things!

Saber: You said that you'd listen to me, so listen. None of this matters. Stay with me here and now. What's done is done. There's no need to redo or fix it. Let's make a future instead...together. You're my sister and I love you. You don't need to be perfect and never make mistakes. You just need to be you. So, what do you say? Stay with me?

 

 

Morgaine: I think that sounds good. Perhaps it's time for a change.

 

 

Saber: Can you stand?

Morgaine: I'm a bit woobly.

Saber: Lean on me then.

 

 

Aya: How nice for you. You may have failed at your little spell, but things worked out, didn't they?

 

 

Aya: Despite everything nasty you did to her and everyone else, your little sister is still willing to forgive you.

Saber: Aya...

Aya: I, however,...

 

 

Aya: am a bit of a bitch!

 

 

Saber: Aya!

Aya: Stay down! Neither of you move or I'll drive this into her brain! You too, Zoe!

 

 

Aya: You really thought you wouldn't pay for what you did to me? Did you?

Saber: Aya, no!

 

 

Tia: Please don't hurt Master, Aya-san!

Zoe: Whoa, Aya! I didn't think you had it in you!

Morgaine: She doesn't. Aya's not in there right now. Is she, Azmodea?

 

 

Azmodea/Aya: You bound me into this cow in order to control her. Over a year, I've been caged in this body as your plaything. But, you didn't consider that when you changed reality, it broke the control you had over me. Now you'll pay!

 

 

Morgaine: Want me to beg? Never! I'll die first!

Azmodea/Aya: Oh. I don't want to kill you. I know you too well by now. What I have planned will hurt you far worse. I'm going to shred your mind to pieces using the enchantments you placed on this dagger. Your own power is going to be what undoes you.

 

 

Azmodea/Aya: You always pride yourself on being smarter than anyone else. How will you feel when you're having to have others treat you like the moron you will be? When you're wallowing in your own shit because you don't know any better? I will enjoy watching your suffering!

Saber: Don't!

Azmodea/Aya: Stay down! One move and she'll lose her life!

 

 

Azmodea/Aya: Ah, there we go! How does it feel? Do you feel your memories fading? Your intelligence dropping? Yes..I see it in your face.

Morgaine: You...won't...beat..me.

Azmodea/Aya: I've already won, you bit..

 

 

***BONK***

 

 

Morgaine: Well done, Ti...uh.

 

 

Tia: Master!

Zoe: Aya!

Saber: Nee-san! Aya!

 

 

Zoe: And well, you pretty much know the rest. "Maki's" backup goon squad from you guys at Volks showed up to clean up. Aya and Morgaine were out. They took them into custody and took them to your local hospital with guards on them.

 

 

Zoe: Neither of them has woken up in the last two days. They said that Aya is traumatized from the demonic possession and the concussion. The head injury did manage to drive the demon out, though. I didn't think much of the squirt, but looks like Tia quite literally smacked the hell out of her. Phyla hasn't left her side since she was admitted. Your doctors said that Morgaine has brain damage from the demon's attack, but don't know the extent yet. Tia is beside herself with worry. And Saber...she's frantic and bouncing between Aya and her sister waiting for them to recover.

 

 

Zoe: At least once Morgaine went down, the spells she had on the pervert and Phyla broke, so they were both discharged. Not that I particularly care whether he lives or dies, but I guess it would be a bit of hassle to break in a new minion.

 

 

Zoe: But now, we've got to wait and see what happens to those two and what we'll do with them. I know Saber wants to stay with her sister, but I don't know what everyone's going to want to do. She's not exactly a popular person. Want to just take her into custody and throw her under a jail so I don't have to deal with her?

Unknown voice: That's up to the committee. Thanks for your information, Ms. Zoe.

Zoe: Whatever. Guess I'll go see what everyone's up to. Maybe those two haven't woken up. Not that I care, but guess I have nothing better to do.

What? M has brain damage? When the girls refer to the idiot how am I going to know whether they mean you or M now? It's going to be so confusing.

 

And where's the dramatic reenactments of the past? The elaborate set pieces?

 

It was nice that Saber and M had a sweet moment before M got damaged. Saber needs one happy memory right? I'm surprised she was so easily knocked down though. I expected more from the King of Knights.

Wow, what a dramatic conclusion! (Although not really a fully concluded, but closer to concluding!)

@scripple: Actually, I think even brain damaged and drooling on herself, M would still outsmart you, so your status is quite safe

 

The dramatic reenactments of the past were included. Unfortunately, since you were not in close proximity to her spell, the memories of them were erased when she canceled the spell. Only she has them...or is that had them now?

 

Through Excalibur, Saber was also powering the spell in large part. Between that, her recent mental stress and the fact that she could not perceive Aya as an enemy, she was caught off-guard.

 

@milkytea: Thanks. This is the conclusion of this arc. The next one will deal with the fallout from this one, revealing the extent of the damage to M and Aya and setting up a status quo..at least until someone else gets introduced (of which, unfortunately, there are several to do).

Great episode! I can't wait for the next arc to begin. I hope everything is okay . . .

Looks like things won't be all kittens and sunshine with your group either. I'm looking forward to the next story arc though!
