Yoko, my muse <3

It's probably no secret that I am absolutely crazy about my Yoko. In a way I think getting her has help fuel my passion for this hobby even more.

 

I decided to let Yoko try out the top and skirt that came with the Volks Retro Coat set. I also added a few extra things from some various outfits to spice it up a little more. I think it made a pretty cute look overall for Yoko. ^_^

 

It was also a good chance to try out one of the new wigs I ordered from Luts. It is a bit messy in the pics, I really need to work with it a bit more. It still looks cute and next time I will try some pics without the curly ponytail clip.

I guess I have a natural touch of making my girls look like singing idols. =3 Yoko will gladly accept another secret admirer, she loves the attention.

Oh wow! its so weird to see Yoko with different hair! but its so cute and the outfit looks so good on her love the pictures... and back to the different wig you have on her head its so odd for it not to be red but it suits her so well ^___^ lol it messes with my head a bit since I wouldn't have known it was Yoko if it didn't say so in the title she just looks so different.

Since you own a Yoko as well I'm sure it is strange to see one with a different wig color on. I have my Yoko's default wig, but I have never tried it on her I guess I fear too much messing it up. I really would like mine to be a red head too, I'm just in the process of finding the right red colored wig for her.

 

But I do enjoy changing my girls default looks up and trying new things. I'm really glad you think this wig suits her. ^_^

O___O you never let your Yoko wear her default wig?! wow I don't think I could do that I saw it in the package and was like 'EEEEE SOOO CUTE!! must put on WIG' lol I was really worried about messing up her hair to so I know what your saying but whats written on the forums that I've found about wig care work well for Yoko, I took her out for a shoot and it was windy the other day but I grabbed the toothbrush XD(still sounds weird) and a lil bit of water and all her frizzy went 'poof gone' and after a couple mins of brushing her ponytail it went back to the original curl/twirl it came in ^__^ so it can be done you just have to be reallllly careful, XD and if you just dont want to I saw a really nice looking red pony wig on cool cat for around 27 bucks.

 

haha I really enjoyed seeing the different wig on Yoko I can't wait till I can change around wigs and clothes and see what looks I can come up with ^__^

Hee hee, she looks JUST like a girl at a drivein in the 50's! I can see her with a little poodle under her arm and riding in a 57 Chevy Belair with the top down. So very retro and cool!

 

I like the color wig and the length of it, I'm wondering how it will look without the side tail on it. I'm betting pretty good.

 

As always, your girls sense of style is really great. I love seeing what you and they come up with!

That is such a great outfit. I love that color combination. She looks great with that wig too. The dark tone of her hair really stands out against her outfit's colors and adds a bit of elegance to her look.

Heh thank you very much! I agree she does have a 50's vibe to her. I should look into finding her a poodle. =3 I'm not sure how well her bear would like that though.

Yoko looks great in dark hair. I also have never put my Yoko in her default wig...I love it so much I really dont want to mess it up, but I think it deserves a photoshoot one of these days!!! I love the outfit you have chosen as well...all work well together.

Nice job matching the shoes and necklaces to the skirt. Your girls do so love to accessorize. The outfit looks a little old fashioned but works for her and she seems quite happy wearing it.

Aw that sucks =( I hate when I see used and abused dollfie wigs that look crazy to fix I hope you figure something out though!

Yes Leeke sells wigs that fit a DD head. It's the one labeled as E which is 8-9inch. When it arrives it will be my first ever wig from Leeke. But I've heard they have some really nice ones.

 

I was referring to the special Volks fanbook wigs they released for pre-order when the DD FanBook came out. You could pick to get Moe's alternate wig (Moe is one of Volks Afterschool Akihabara Girls) or Natsuki's alternate wig (Natsuki is another one of Volks Afterschool Akihabara Girls) Basically all that means is they are characters Volks created.

Thank you very much! I try my best when I miz n match my girls outfits. It might have that old fashioned feel because the shirt and skirt are from the Volks Retro Coat set. Might be that retro vibe Volks was trying to put in this outfit.
