It looks like Rei is doing some design work and Mamimi is doing mockup on something? How long did this take yall to do from start to finish? R - "The design phase took maybe 30 minutes but the building and fitment phases took over 2.5 hours. Not the hardest thing I have done but not the simplest either." M - "It took a while like Rei said but it was really fun!" I'm glad yall had fun with it, congrats! He mentioned it to me months ago and I said I'd like to try it but never got around to it until recently. I'm glad I did tho because every time I look at these pics, I just smile. They did a lot of work on this... it took them 3 hours to design and build the outfit. Not an easy process, let me tell you. Danbo's one of my favorite things to come out of the Yotsuba manga, so seeing your girls making the plans, putting the thing together, and actually having Mamimi wear it puts a smile on my face. In the manga "Yotsuba!", a little girl makes this robot suit for a school project. She then dresses up in this and plays with a younger friend and messes with her about the money aspect. It's quite funny. And as you can see, a DD will fit inside nicely! I had to make it like that so it was accurate to the manga. Plus, how cute is it when the head comes off and a pretty girl is inside? This is AMAZING! I love Danbo and Yotsuba so much, this was such a sweet story~ Thank you very much! But I'm not sure I'll use Manami for it, I think I need Yukino or Elisabeth to believe Danbo is real to better match the manga setups.
