Well well, it looks like I've forgotten to update here with my newer girls.  Shame on me.  😉  Let's get to fixing that issue!  We left off on girl number 80 so that means we're on 81 right?  WRONG.  It seems that in my last update I left a girl out that I thought I adopted later than the others when in fact she came in before a few of them.  She should actually have been number 72!  Yes, I'm a bad dollie daddy.  😛

 

So to remedy that I'll introduce her here again altho everyone has seen her before anyways.  Here's number 72, Mari Maknimari from the Evangelion movies!

She came complete with all her default outfit and accessories.  Unfortunately her glasses arrived broken as they are VERY delicate.  So I had to buy her some different ones to replace the busted set.

So, back to the list of new girls!  We are 82 now due to Mari bumping some of the girls up a number.  Actually, numbers 82 and 83 came to me at the same time from the same seller.  And I didn't even ask about these girls, Chun from Puppy52 messaged ME about adopting them from her.     Say hello to Himitsu and Amber!

I have quite a few 04 heads but none were on a regular DD body so I gave Himistu a DD2 L-bust setup.  I think she turned out adorable.  😉

 

Her sister is named Amber and is an 03 head.

Amber is on a DD2 M-bust body.  She uses a set of Volks animatic eyes and an unknown blonde wig.

My next girl was also adopted from Facebook from a good friend who wanted her to go somewhere she would be taken care of and have lots of siblings to play with.  I think she got the right place.  😉  Say hello to number 85, Victoria!

Victoria is a Smartdoll Julia.  She has her default eyes and wig and I added some Smartdoll elf ears to her.  Besides Sesshoumaru, Victoria is my only doll with elf ears.

Victoria is a little shy but likes being outdoors.  She's a nature lover and enjoys reading up on animals and plants.  She wants to be a vet when she gets older.

Now we're at number 86!  This girl got rearranged as soon as she arrived so here's her story.  It's Kimi!

Kimi is a special girl due to her being a D'Accord girl.  She was originally on an MDD3 body but I swapped her onto this DD2 M-bust body because I wanted the MDD3 body to replace an old original MDD body on one of my other girls.  So Kimi got to grow up as soon as she arrived.  😄

Kimi is an exchange student from Australia and she specializes in music and history.  She loves playing the guitar and keyboard but can also play just about any type of wind instrument.  She gets along well with Mamimi and her group of scool aged girls.

She was adopted from Facebook.  ( Do we see a trend here?  FB is BAD for my wallet! ) She came to me with eyes and a wig but I swapped them out to what she has here.  She is using the default MOMO wig and some random Volks eyes.

As you can see, she is a WS girl!  She is on the DD2 M-bust body.  I don't have many of them so when I saw her for sale, I had to get her, especially since she came with freckles!

Heather is very quiet and seems to like sleeping a lot.  But she also seems to like video games and hangs around with Miyuki and Yukino.

While not *really* her sister, my next girl IS Heather's sister in my family.  Mainly because she too is a WS girl and an 03 head.

Mina is on a very hard to get body.... a WS DDdy Shapely bust.  The only way you can get these is to buy a Christmas Alna as she was the only DDdy WS girl made.  So when Mina came up for sale on FB ( OF COURSE ) I jumped at the chance to own that body and her.

Mina is a goth girl and she has no problem telling everyone.  She is very outspoken and boisterous.

I knew her previous owner before I got on FB and I had always liked Mina.  She has a very specific look to her and I'd never seen eyes like hers.  Turns out her owner made them herself!  They are super shiny, they have glitter in them and also hearts and stars!  You can see some of those here when the light hits them.

I told you she was outspoken.  😄  Mina gets along well with Heather and is a little protective of her at times.  Mina is good friends with Sango and Sprout and they talk about shoes and fashion quite a lot.

 

We're in the home stretch now!  Up next is girl number 89!  Who can it be?  It be Neris!

I got Neris from my buddy Eblktty ( hey, not off FB how about that? )  She came on a DDdy body with the Shapely bust and with the eyes and wig you see here.

Neris is also very upbeat and talkative.  She fancies herself an idol as well.  Unfortunately she doesn't like the fact she has large breasts so she tries her best to workout and lose them.  LOL

Her name is Sakuya and she's been here before, left and then came back!

I originally bought Sakuya as a head and eyes for my ex-gf as a b-day present.  When we broke up, she took Sakuya with her but said if I ever wanted her back to just let her know.  Well, I got back in touch with her after a long while and asked if she was doing anything with Sakuya and she said no so she sent her back to me.

She doesn't have any of her default stuff except the eyes so I'm thinking of trying to find her clothes and wig sometime in the future.  But for now, I set her up like this.

I like the different colored eyes in her and the short bob wig.  I think it suits her nicely.  She is on the same body she was issued with altho this isn't the one she came with, I added it after I got the head here.  It's a DD2 L-bust.

90 milestone yaaaay!!

Beautiful new girls. You almost got 100. I saw that Neris head for sale in instagram and I really wanted her because she was $90 including pp fees and shipping. But when I got the money she was sold. Congrats on owning her.

 You have such beautiful girls. I love your Azone, and DDH03 girls so much, but all of your girls are very beautiful  CONGRATS on the growing family!!!!

Himitsu is so freakin cute! I think those are Smart Doll eyes? They look fantastic with the 04 sculpt.

Thank you my friend!  I wasn't sure this Neris was offered up online before.....Eblktty usually puts her girls up for sale within our doll group first beforehand.  But if so, you know where she went.  😉  I appreciate the compliments sir!

Thanks very much!  And you are correct, she does use Smartdoll eyes!    The eyes she came with were a bit too small so I tried these out and BAM!  Perfect match for her.  😄

Thank you so much!  It's not easy figuring out who the new girls will be but I'm lucky that they usually let me know within a few days of them arriving home.  😉  As for Sakuya, that means a lot to me!  I had some doubts about her look, mainly the wig, but I'm glad you like her setup!  I really like the different eyes in her, they're shiny and brightly colored..... I don't have a lot of girls with similar setups so maybe that's why I like her like this.

Wow, it has been a really long time since I updated this thread.  😉  I plan to get the rest of the family added here over the long holiday weekend so be ready for a few updates!  I'll try and do like the previous ones and describe the girls and how they came to me and how their personalities are.

 

So we stopped at number 90 last time, that means we are on to 91!  That girl is Momo!

Mirai came to me in a roundabout way.  Someone in Charlotte advertised her for sale after they had issues building her body.  She had no clothing but did come with her eyes and wig and body.  I figured I could repair whatever issues the body had since I had already built my own Cortex body before.  So I bought her and got her home only to find that the body needed more work to repair than I thought.  So what did I do?  I put her head on the body *I* had built already and then set the other one that needed repairs aside for a future project.  😄

I was extremely lucky to win her in the Volks lottery.  I put in for her and Clover and would have been happy with either but I secretly wanted Tawny more.    So it just made me so happy to have her join my family.

Thank you!  I'm glad people like Momo, I was afraid she'd be a bit *too* different for some peoples tastes.  Not that I'm doing up my girls for others sake, it's just that I know not all my girls are styled normally.  😉   And yeah, I wasn't even paying attention to the fact the I had adopted 3 SmD girls in a row.  😄

Second update of the weekend! 

 

We start off with number 96 and a very important girl in my family.  That would be one of my biggest unicorns, Tamaki from To Heart 2.

Tamaki has been one of my unicorn/grail dolls since I first got into the hobby almost 10 years ago.  I was drawn to her because of that wonderful smile and her red hair and eyes.  She's the reason so many of my girls have red eyes.

I had tried to purchase her for years but she's usually pretty hard to find complete and when she shows up for sale, she's always expensive... like $2000 expensive.  So for those two reasons, she escaped me for a long, long time.

Finally, late last year in October, a good friend found one on Mandarake for under $1000.  I obviously figured she was either damaged or missing things at that price point but after checking the listing, the only issues were that she had a few stains on her headcap and her socks and the box had a few bends in one corner.  That was it.  So I went to snatch her up using a credit card and...….

Things went amiss.  The card got charged thru Paypal but Paypal didn't use the card, it used my bank account.  Then Mandarake cancelled the sale.  Then it didn't cancel it.  Then the CC company cancelled it.  Then the bank called wanting to know if my card had been stolen.  Then I had to call Mandarake. Then all the money from checking went to pay for Tamaki when it shouldn't have. Then it got returned days later after some bill payments bounced.  

It was just a fiasco.  But finally, after almost 4 days of on and off communications, things got figured out and Tamaki was sent out.  She arrived a few days before Halloween and the rest is history.  😉  A true unicorn to the very end.... hard to find, hard to capture and totally worth all the trouble.  LOL

Tamaki is amazing in person.  She's gorgeous, she has a peculiar air to her and she's just super cool no matter how I slice it.  😄 In my family, she's Manami's oldest friend.... they met in college and she was Manami's first GF.  Manami basically worships the ground Tamaki walks on and will do anything for her.  Rei is still trying to find a way to work this to her advantage.  LOL

Next up is number 97, Maria!  She is an Airy that I adopted from another good friend, Salica.

In Salica's family, Maria had a past life of being an undercover operative and assassin.  She had since given up that life to protect her sister who was also in Salica's family.  So when I adopted her, she stayed with the same background but came here to help with the protection of her sisters that I had adopted from Salica before her.  She's very good with her hands, likes building things and is great friends with my Maid Brigade girls since they are all weaponized.  😉

I don't own any other full VMF girls but I have in the past.  They just didn't really fit into my family for some reason so I haven't gone after any others until Sonico.

Salica bought her so she could have the headphones and a few other things she came with to go with her custom made Sonico DD girl.  After she got those things, this Sonico went back into her box and into storage.  So she'd been sitting in her box for a long time before I adopted her.  Salica asked if I was interested and at first I said no.  But then she made me a deal I just could not refuse so she rode along with Maria down to her new home with me.

She's fully default and I have no plans to change her.  She's an ex idol in my storyline and has retired from the crazy life of one.  But she enjoys playing musical instruments and teaching music and singing to the MDD girls in the family.

Coming in at the last double digit space, number 99 is my custom ogre girl Shion!

Shion is an 05 head painted by Eblktty.  I have her on an older DDdy body.  She came with a DD2 body that needed work but I needed her to be on the DDdy to better fit her character.  I don't know the maker of the wig or the eyes.

After seeing the anime "That time I was reincarnated as a Slime", I decided to base a girl off the ogre in that show that is also named Shion.  I found her design and character to be really cool.  Altho my Shion has different eyes and hair, she retains a lot of the same character traits.

As for the horn you see on her here, I made that from wood.  I took a branch off a tree in my backyard and whittled it down to the shape you see using knives, grinding wheels and sandpaper.  I designed it to look like bone that had been weathered and used in battle.  It's just a prototype horn really as I want her to get one made of resin that is a dark greenish black to match the Shion in the anime.  It's held onto her head by strong mini magnets.

Shion is very mature and old.  She loves small and cute things and acts very girly and sweet when she finds such things to snuggle and cuddle with.  She is also extremely fierce when it comes to protecting her family and has strength far beyond what a normal DD girl should have.  😉  So Rei really enjoys having her on the frontline as a member of The Maid Brigade.

 

 And now we are at the last girl for this update.... big number 100!   

 

The first of the triple digit girls is an older Volks release and one I hadn't really gone after in the past.  She was offered to me by a good friend and I took her in due to how cute she was.    She is Mayu Tamano!

Mayu came to me on a brand new MDDF3 body and had been repainted.  She also had the medium bust.

I know nothing of her anime character and really haven't looked her up.  I do have her default outfit and wig from years back but she rarely wears any of it.

Like most of my MDD girls, she's outgoing and into all sorts of things.  Of course she loves sweets and is always trying to get more.

She buddies up with Kudo and Cirno most of the time and they have fun messing with Manami quite often.  😉

Yaaaaay we know the name of the lady 100! Nice Mayu Tamano, I own her too but with that custom makeup so different to her default... I didn’t recognized her!!

oh wow! All the fuss with Tamaki! Must have been so stressful to deal with. Glad she made it home safe and sound, she's a very pretty sculpt for sure. I love you Airy, she is one of my favorite head sculpts with her little :3 mouth.

That last set of five is such an awesome and varied set of additions. Tamaki stealing the show of course but Airy can run her down with that :3 face. 

I never would have thought girl 100 was Mayu. I don’t think I’ve ever liked that head before but yours looks fantastic! Looking forward to the next update!

Thank you!  It's really cool to see how different a girl can look just by changing the face up.    And thanks about the horn too!  That thing took me a long time to do and I still don't think it looks right but I'll get it eventually.  😄

I know right?  That darn girl put up a huge fight as my biggest unicorn!  I guess she really had to make the point of giving me a story to tell about her so she sticks out the most.  😉  And thank you about her and Airy!  I adore the ":3" mouth girls too!  Even Tamaki has one.    Don't worry, I only  have 2 more updates, I'll do one either today or tomorrow and then one during the week.  I have to have them finished and out of the way to prepare for next month.  June will prove to be a huge deal for me and the girls.  Hee hee…..

Thanks so much!    Tamaki for sure steals this update but the others can hold their own.  😉  I also love the ":3" mouth girls!  I didn't plan on Mayu at all, she just kinda popped up and said ADOPT MEEE!  LOL  But I do like her a lot and she fits right in with the rest of my little ones.
