Your most wanted clothes ("unicorns")

This is to kind of go along with the unicorn doll thread. Are there any clothes out there that you'd really like for your dolls but maybe it's long sold out or it's expensive?

 

I'd really like another kimono for my girls. Preferably a Volks one, but whenever Volks releases new ones, I always lose the click war. They don't go up for sale on Y!JA that often either.

Kanu's China Dress set, and Saber's Holiday Outfit (her brown one). That Saber outfit has been eluding me for some time now!

I'm not sure if it's the correct name but I think it's called the "Test Haters" School Uniform or something. I've only ever seen one on Y!JA and it was over $500 ._.

I hoped to get Akira's Kitty Magician set but I didn't win it in lottery and the after market price went up to about $300 which is more than I'm willing to spend.

Saber's Holiday Outfit for me too--it's the only one of her alternate outfits that I don't have, excluding the swimsuit which I don't really care about. It seems pretty hard to find though! I'd have to put Sakuno's casual outfit on the list too, it seems pretty easy to get though I've just had too many other things to spend money on!

For me my clothes most wanted would have to be Saber Alter's 1st dress and Saber's Maid set. I want both of these for my Alter of course ^^ I'd also love the two Kimono style maid sets volks did a while ago and the recent Guiding Sister Nun set.

 

Most other outfits I'd like would need to be commissioned, but the only 2 people I know who do commissions are never open, so I'll probably never get any custom made outfits *sigh*

Ah, this one you can totally get for a good price if you're patient and keep your eyes peeled. Don't have an active one right now, but I've seen a couple kitty magician sets in the $120-$150 range in the last two months. They generally stick around for at least a couple days before selling, so if you monitor once a day you will be able to get it. Good news!

 

Saber's casual outing (holiday) set

I liked the sandals from this one. They were my favorite part, and the piece that fit best on the dolls. Almost kept them when I sold off the Casual Outing set I used to own, but decided not to in the end so the set'd be complete.

 

You're right though - this set and the Saber everyday wear with plushie lion are two sets that don't come up as available very often (and usually only on YJA).

Hmm, I guess mine would be this one sweater I've seen in a few photos. I believe it's by Volks, but I have no idea what it's called. Maybe someone here can help me?

 

Many of my most-desired outfits I've been able to track down sooner or later, but the ones that remain are a couple of traditional-style Japanese outfits that I haven't been able to grab at a good price yet.

As an aside, one that I did recently acquire was the SD Victorique de Blois outfit. It looked neat in photos but there's really no substitute for seeing the fabric quality in person.. which turned out to be amazing. Right away this became one of my favorite outfits that I own. More folks 'round these parts should give it a try on DD .

I never realized the brown outfit was called her holiday outfit. I've always liked the whole set and it was my unicorn. I was so happy to finally get it a few months ago even if I don't have an original Saber, I think it'll look nice on my Alter Ver. 2. As for other unicorn outfits, I love Akira's Kitty Magician set and Moe 2's default outfit.

Just in case the Volks set continues to elude you! I hope one day you find your unicorn outfit at the perfect price! Otherwise, Jadepixel posted her pattern there, so maybe you could make your own custom version for your girls?

Definitely Saber's armor, but also Haruhi's outfit and I'd LOVE to find a pattern for a full kimono (including yukata) and a "school swimsuit".

Hm. Probably Nanoha's Instructor uniform. It looks like Volks didn't make many of them, so it doesn't pop up very often, and since it's original retail was on the high end (due to including a wig and shoes), even a good deal is pretty pricey. Someday I may nab it though.

I'm horrible with Volks names for their outfits. Who can remember something named "Twilight Gears of Sun Falling from Heavens Hands on the Waterfall of Stainville"? I mean really guys?

 

Anywho, there are a few outfits out there that I'd love to have but never can seem to find. One of them is modeled by Kanu and is a blue bikini with a seethru white shirt and some awesome denim shorts. I know Galvatims Kitty Airy wears this set and it's so friggin cool! I want that set sooo bad!

 

Another set is one that was released when the maid set I have for my Yoko was made. It looks like a female butlers outfit but is sized for the DDdy girls. Aoi was modeling it and its in black and red colors. I have NEVER seen it for sale anywhere. T_T

 

There's also a really nice swimsuit that I've seen a very few times that I'd love. Mitsuki uses one in her pics sometimes and its a checkered/plaid setup with a small shirt/vest thing that comes with it.

 

I'm sure there are other outfits I'd like to have but they don't come to mind as easily as these 3 do.

Wow, those are interesting outfits that Billy wants. I don't have any of those myself though, due to lack of large chested girls to fill those out.

 

That maid outfit is pretty cute especially.

I guess I'm lucky, managed to get my most coveted outfit - Moe's winter uniform- and then Volks re-released the Swallowtail Maid set, so I got that one too. It also helps to avoid looking at the older releases, haha.

 

I have the checked bikini set, it's really adorable. My girls don't use it as a swimsuit much though, mostly I use the lacy shirt part instead ^^;
