baldylox Posted June 5, 2012 I used to heavily collect anime figures and statues but that was before I got into DD's. Now I hardly spend anything on those. I do still watch anime but it's mostly online or from fansubs. I also read manga. Not a ton but I have a few series like Yotsuba!, Gunsmith Cats, Azumanga Daioh and When They Cry. I never got into wall scrolls or artbooks or anything like that. I do have a ton of books on Street Fighter tho and half of those have some wonderful art in them. Billy I gave up counting the girls I own, they keep multiplying and won't stop.
PrettyCranium Posted June 6, 2012 Here's a link to my figure collection: http://myfigurecollection.net/profile/PrettyCranium I can't believe I own 282, it doesn't seem like that much . . . I especially love Fullmetal Alchemist. I also have a moderate size DVD collection.

I only open figures that I absolutely cannot live without, ever. It's like a warehouse in here. T__T;

Galvatim Posted June 6, 2012 I have a pretty large figure collection... http://myfigurecollection.net/profile/Galvatim (not shown: about 800 Transformers...) I'm mostly collecting Figma now. On top of that, I collect DVDs/Blu-Ray. I tend to look for bargain buys on Right Stuf or Amazon, though. Occasionally I buy other merchandise related to my favorite anime characters, like t-shirts, straps, or keyrings. And of course I love those limited video game/Figma bundles. Not that I can read Japanese to actually play the games...
katnaper Posted June 6, 2012 (edited) I don't have as extensive a collection as some of the others here, but I do collect a few figures, mostly the marvel bishoujos, BRS, Makise Kurisu and a couple of others. My husband though has got a whole bunch of Gundams and between the two of us we have a fair bit of stuff. Edited December 12, 2012 by Guest We have our own BLOG. Deinbeck Posted June 6, 2012 I just started grabbing figures in the last year (always wanted to, couldn't afford.. ;-]), I have a few figma (<3 mini K-ON) and a far too large manga collection. I remember buying Gundam models in like the early 90's before we even knew what Gundam was really just because they looked so cool... I'd definitely like to grab a few modern kits one day and throw them together, Giant Robots make me giddy
Till Troll Posted June 6, 2012 I used to buy alot of manga, but haven't bought any in a couple of years. I collect Tenchi Muyo! merchandise (any type, obsessively), artbooks (game/anime) and very occasionally, figures that are not Tenchi. I have knick knacks from various anime I've acbleepulated over the years, but I don't "collect" them per se. I do like buying anime DVD boxsets at convention bring & buys tho .Have a decent collection from that!
DJStarstryker Posted June 7, 2012 I don't really consider anything I have a "collection". I just buy stuff that I like. I have a decent number of figures, DVDs/BluRays, video games, books, manga, and CDs though. I have actually gotten rid of a decent amount in the past few years too, but there still seems to be so many. Are you ready to rock? ^_^

I have some manga/dvds and plenty of cds, and I got some merchandise while visiting Japan and comiket aswell but mainly I try to avoid hoarding and purchasing too much stuff...For the longest time I avoided buying figurines but I had to give up and bought all the nendoroids from Madoka series since they were just way too cute! laces Posted June 28, 2012 I have Figma's, Nendoroid's, manga, DVD's, the odd CD, and one figure! And an oppai mouse mat my friend gave me for my birthday, I can't complain, it's got good wrist support! xD
milkytea Posted June 28, 2012 The only anime things I collect are toys from Sailor Moon. I only search for and keep the toys that are replicas of wands, brooches, weapons, or other items that characters use in the show. I don't have very many--a brooch, two wands, and some miniature brooches. They're usually much too expensive for me to justify.
RedLion Posted June 28, 2012 Lots of stuff, artbooks, nendos, revoltechs, figmas, statues. Though I want to start cooling off, just because my wallet needs a break and I want to focus on my girl. I'm probably just going to collect nendos from now on, unless it's characters or series I prefer, like Xenosaga and Strike Witches. I probably would if I won the lottery. Probably the first thing that would be on my mind is to get all the Sailor Moon collectibles. I still have the Moon Crystal Wand, Brooch, and a HUGE card collection from when I was a kid. I'll always be in love with them!
Dollvari Posted July 8, 2012 I collect Art Books, DVDs/Blu-Ray, Models (currently on hold, have a closet full needing assembly ), as well as some miscellaneous anime related stuff.
sofiel Posted July 8, 2012 I collect Japanese candies XD. Mostly just ones I get on the rare occasion I go to Disney. I eat all but one and save that one xD I have them all displayed on my bookshelf lol. I also collect pinky:st figures. 10 at the moment but I have 36 more on the way I used to collect mangas, wallscrolls/posters and anime card decks. I have a few sets left but sold the rest. Gave my favorite scroll to my friend for hits birthday.
Singer Yuna Posted July 11, 2012 I also collect besides DD (and their accesories) Artbooks and how-to books, miniature furniture and re-ments, nendoroids, figures, decorating magazines, books, videogames and dvds ^^
Mahoro Posted July 11, 2012 I used to collect manga, but I stopped doing that 4 years ago (except to finish up Salad Days this year from JP because I couldn't find the last 2 volumes the last time I went), I still read a TON of manga from groups (I won't say online, because I hate those online readers, personally <_<). Doujins, I still collect those, but I pretty stringently limit myself to only when I'm actually in Japan, the shipping sort of makes it pointless to mail order them. Figures, used to collect them...then I found Feena. I have not bought a single figure since July 2009, despite being tempted, particularly badly on my most recent Japan trip, but managed to not. Pretty much most of my hobby money goes into DDs, which at its most fundamental for me I see as an evolution of figure collecting for me, but I have a LOT more fun with them. Figures are cute, but not as cute as DDs, and barring figmas (which I don't honestly like the look of that much), you can't pose them either.
