Alphakitty Posted April 8, 2011 (edited) Ohai there! I'm a Dollfie collector from the US, and though I just recently started out my collecting is growing dangerously fast. ^^;; The first girl I ordered was Marisa, but before she arrived my boyfriend surprised me with Mari at Christmas, so she was technically my first Dollfie (and my favorite!). Saber Lily was #3, followed by Noumi (who is currently in transit) and a pieced-together custom Soniko that we are still waiting on a body for! And more recently, we acquired a custom (unpainted) resin head on Yahoo Japan that we'll be turning into Kirino. As soon as I am able to post pictures, I'll put some up of my girls! I also write for the blog Tomopop (http://tomopop.com/index.phtml), but we don't get to talk much about Dollfies there, so I am excited to join a community that's all about these beautiful figures! If you'd like to check out my figure collection, I have profiles at: MFC http://myfigurecollection.net/profile/Alphakitty Rotocasted http://rotocasted.com/Alphakitty/ Edited April 8, 2011 by Guest DD Family: Mari, Saber Lily, Marisa, Soniko, Noumi, Kirino, Kuroneko, Sakura (DD Sakuno), Aerie, Akira, Kiki, Koko, Rose (DDS Mariko), Kureha, Ryoko, Lucy, Haruka, Rise, Extra & Alter! Alphakitty Posted April 8, 2011 Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. I'll try to post up some pictures soon! I have a ton of clothing coming in the mail (a gift from my parents! my mom, thankfully, loves Dollfies), so I can't wait to dress up all my girls. ^^ Out of curiosity (and perhaps I should start another thread for this?), how does everyone else's family feel about Dollfies? I've heard from other people that there are often negative reactions to them, but from what I've seen on these boards they seem to be generally positive! Nakitaninja Posted April 17, 2011 Hahahaha- I totally haven't shown them the dolls. It's not on purposes- we just live further away and haven't had the chance. Given my past career and my husband's present one we're kind of "socially well-adjusted raging nerds" so I think my family believes anything is possible/alternately doesn't care. I think DDs are undeniably beautiful so folks can always appreciate that! Take lots of pictures of your new DD clothes, please!! ^^
