How many Dollfie Dreams do you have?

I've got 3 DD, and 1 in waiting. (I received her next week)

 

1. Kashi (MDD Tamano Mayu)

2. Kalan (DDH-01 x obitsu 40)

3. Azusa (DDH-01 SWS, no body for the moment)

4. Aubépine (DD Saber Alter in waiting....)

I'm still working on customizing my MDD, but I'm already thinking about getting a DD to customize. I got Nemu because I like the character so I want to leave her as is, but I really want to have a DD sized one for customization.

I forget my 3rd MDD so 1 DD and 3 MDD!

I have three:

 

1. Chiruri (WS DDII with DDH 07)

2. Mami (DD Yukino V.2)

3. Teke (SWS DDII with DDH 04)

I started in 2009 with DD Rin Tohsaka V1 and MDD Illyasviel Von Einzbern. Gave up the hobby and sold them off in the late 2010.

Restart the hobby in mid 2012,now I have 35 of which 7 are been displayed, the rest I kept them as it is in box in MIB condition.

As of right now I have ten DD's and one on preorder through Volks.

 

Three are fullset limited's and live on their stands on display, I'm too afraid of messing up their outfits to take them out... of the others three are on DD1 one bodies, two are Dynamites, one is a DD2 and the other is a Sister.

I was planning for these to be the only Volks dolls I would own (because I also seem to collect every other kind of doll there is. . .) But seeing the Fate/Stay Night dolls lately is making me chew at my ropes; we shall see.

Well.

 

Two years ago, when I got my first one, I was warned that more of them would eventually show up.

 

That finally happened on Wednesday night. I bought a used body and head. She cost about 15% of what Lily did. The "newcomer" has already started wearing some of Lily's clothing.

 

Here was my line of thinking on getting another DD:

 

1. Lily (who is blonde, BTW) was expensive as hell. If I ever break her, it might be an idea to have a second DD on hand that can supply replacement parts. Volks always seems to be sold out of critical parts and bodies.

 

2. The new girl (who is a brunette, BTW) will be Lily's "stunt double" for somewhat dangerous photographic shoots.

 

It will be just like life in Hollywood. The brunette will do all the work and the blonde will take all the credit.
