Nelly19 Posted June 10, 2012 Hi, I have a 48cm obitsu butcher body is blah! Would a dolfie dream body (bust and trunk) fit in her skeleton? Learning that its safe outside my shell too
waha Posted June 10, 2012 Short answer: No. Long answer: With a lot of work, maybe. I don't know about the 48cm body, but I do know there's been people in Japan that have managed to put the Parabox 40cm skeleton inside a MDD body to get the 'best of two worlds'. The 48cm body doesn't really have a DD equivalent so things might get tricky there.

If that's the case, how are dollfie dreams in range of movements, softness of vinyl and such? I would just buy one instead of the obitsu, also I root my dolls head by hand, can that be done with a DD? Unsure about the Obitsu 60cm body as it seems to be an older construction. Movement-wise the Obitsu bodies are superior to the MDD/DD2 bodies, but probably around equal to the MDD3/DD3/DDS bodies. Dollfie Dream heads in general have wigs, so if you want to do it by hand I guess you'd have to settle with making your own wig. Is there any specific reason you'd want a DD body instead of the Obitsu? Personally I have a mix and match of Parabox/DD/Obitsu, but they all use DD heads. Well I thought mobility wise they were a bit better, thats why I love the obitsu bodies, I may just try heads, I a, not a wig fan but it may save me sore fingers. Thanks you have been very helpful to a newbie like me this will be my first MSD sized doll so am super duper excited ^.^ I hope she can be an island girl. wotafarce Posted June 14, 2012 Hi if you are looking for info on DD / Obitsu hybrids, you could take a look on Dollieh Sanctuary there is a guy there called K2 who has all sorts of obitsu hybrids, he seems to be a bit of a guru in this area. I have both an obitsu and a DDII girl and the thing I miss most in my DD girl is the lack of decent elbow articulation without dislocating her elbow. hope you find the info you are looking for
