mangaemi Posted June 11, 2012 Hi everyone : ) I figured I should introduce myself on here since there are so many threads I want to comment on My name is Emily and recently my friends (who are all full blown into BJDs) spurred in me a desire to look into a BJD. I was never a fan of the resin ones b/c a lot of them just look so serious or sad. Then I saw the Dollfie Dreams and I really want one now! While I have not gotten the actual doll yet (they are out of stock... TT^TT) my plan is to get a HDD04 head to put on a Mini Dollfie Dream body. I wanted to make a doll for the main character of a manga I am hoping to start in the fall : ) Her name is Yumiko Nanahara and she's fun loving, sweet, but also trying to find her talent/place in the world. (she's the girl with the pigtails XD) http://fav.me/d4rkw62 I've already contacted Hikaru on flickr in hopes of having a really cute face up done (his wait list is really long though... ^^; and I lack patience... lol) Anywho - apart from the dollfie I'm into anime/manga, Japan (been twice), design, video games, and other random bits of time wasters...
