We start with the

 

DDH01 head open eyes

 

Here is one of my modded version of a DDH01 head ^^

Here's my little Médée (pronounced meh-DAY).

 

 

Eyes: Twin Snow 22mm non-metallic Deep Ocean

Wig: Leeke

Faceup: Machiko

Modifications: none.

 

I let my sister have free reign with Médée and she painted her with an anime-resin BJD hybrid style. If I cover her joints up with clothes, Médée can blend in very nicely with resin dolls and few people notice

There's three faces of Taiga which I have made from DDH01 mod ^^

 

Below is the first head which I don't use as much now.

Eyes: painted on

Wig: could had been from luts, cut to look like what I thought close to Taiga's hair style -- a 2nd hand wig which could had been out of production.

Modifications: This first head is the closed eye, mouth and nose area was carved down and sanded

 

I got a bit dissatisfied over time and wanted to try to make a different version... so decided to make the "tsun" (angry) face, this time I carved the eyeholes a little wider, and had a couple different approach to the eyes, in the end I used eyes painted on wooden beads

While I love Taiga's tsun face, I had to make the "dere" (kind and smiling) face :3 As in the anime, her personality grew and she did have a kind side to her :3 I think this smile looks a little mischievous sometimes too
