Field Trip!

Most of spring quarter I have been wanting to get some Photos of Tamayuki at the college I've been attending. So finally yesterday since I had to go to class for a whopping 20 minutes, Raven and I decided to bring Tama-chan and Yuriko along so they could have their first field trip! Most of these are taken at the center of the small campus in front of the library because it's the most interesting location. I really wanted to get some inside the library, but with finals starting today there really wasn't a chance.

"Look Mommy, your school has a seat just for me!"

 

 

"It took a little work but I made it! YAY!"

 

 

Yuriko: *Whispers* "Say cheese, Tama-chan!"

Tamayuki: "What?"

*click*

 

 

Tamayuki: "Did you see my new shoes that Mommy made me this morning before school? They are so fuzzy and cute, and I HAVE SHOES!"

Yuriko: *snickers*

 

 

"I'm a little pixie boy up in the tree!"

 

 

"I'll be right there Mommy after Yuriko helps me with the stairs. They should make them shorter so they are easier to climb."

 

 

"Whew. Climbing monster stairs are a lot of work."

 

 

Yuriko: "Tama-chan, come look at this!"

Tamayuki: "I'm just about there."

 

 

Tamayuki: "If the water was higher I would take off my shoes and put my toes in over there."

 

 

Yuriko: "Cheese!"

Tamayuki: "Gooey Cheese!"

 

 

*Tamayuki contentedly watches the fountain*

 

 

"Hey Daddy, you'll never guess what's in here!"

 

 

*Yuriko types her name into the log in screen*

"Then I just hit enter..."

 

 

Yuriko: "Daddy, the computer is being mean and won't let me play. I put my name in and everything!"

Mommy: "You can't use the computers unless you are a student."

 

 

*Mumbles*

"Stupid computer. I just wanted to play some games. Even Mommy's computer at home lets me play with it when she's not around. Big meanie."

*bashes the keyboard with her foot*

 

 

"Hey look, it's my web page that Mommy made in class!"

 

 

Yuriko: "Mama you are on the wrong page, don't work on this one. I know there is a better page with a CERTAIN PRETTY GIRL on it that you should work on instead."

 

 

Yuriko: "Oh good you found it! Isn't she pretty and really, really adorable? You should make every page about her!" *blushes and giggles*

Tamayuki: *whispers* "But I thought the website was called The Small World of Tamayuki and Dolly..."

 

 

"Mommy, why did you have to put a picture of me and Dolly on your computer at school? Its embarrassing..."

Personally for me, the pic of Tamayuki holding Yuriko's hand as they stand on the stairs give me a mental nose-bleed. Too freaking CUTE!

 

I hope you enjoyed sharing our field trip! I plan to do more this summer in other locations around town, we have lots of parks! Other than that and I'll have to take some more time to think about where Tamayuki would like to go and I'm sure Dolly will join him. Yesterday morning he was too busy snoring and scaring the cats to bother waking up.

That looked like a fun outing! So many things to see and places to explore. It's fun seeing them find new things and how they react to them. The computer being mean was funny.

It was a lot of fun to do these photos. The campus actually was rather busy because it was around noon when I took them. One guy's comment was "Photography and modeling both at the same time? Right on!" Although there was a fair amount of odd looks especially when I had them on the stairs because a few people going between classes. I just decided that I wanted to do it (and Tama had been hanging around in his carrying bag since 7am) so I just pretended I perfectly knew what I was doing and would give someone an earful if they questioned me. It's a habit I learned as a kid to do when I got too nervous to do something, often getting something from the grocery store for my mom.

 

I bet they will want to tag along with you to college everytime you go now. =3

 

I wouldn't mind if they did, but not until September at the soonest because I had my last final today. Woo hoo! I'm hoping to do some more photo sets in other places at the college once I get more used to it. It also is a little bit of a photo album for myself to have once I'm done with school.

When I first started to see your 'out and about' photos with your girls, it really baffled me a bit how someone could have enough courage to do something like that. Your girls always seemed to have so much fun being able to see something new, making me want to do fun stuff like that with our 'kids.' I really wasn't sure how Tamayuki would react especially with so many people around, but I took him out and he saw the rock on the ground and said, "That's just my size, I want to sit on it." He was too interested in all the new stuff that he easily ignored the people. Plus he loves his new shoes so much that he wanted to be running all over the place.

 

I hope this all makes sense, I'm so brain dead that it feels like I'm writing gibberish.
