RaveOfNightmares Posted June 15, 2012 (edited) I picked up the Fujifilm X-Pro1 and the Fujinon 35mm f/1.4 Aspherical today and figured I'd try it out at the park. I had planned to take Mio and Momo, but when I was dressing Momo for the trip, I found that her left shoulder had broken at the bolt, so she's down for the count once more sadly. Arisa volunteered for the position of park traveler in her place. In posing for this next picture, Arisa decided she wanted to take a dip in the fountain, and so did her impression of the Nestea plunge into it... After her dip in the "pool", Arisa was not permitted to ride in the carrier with Mio, and instead I carried her by hand all the way back. She's currently nice and cozy resting in a towel/blanket/sleeping bag. All told, shooting these with the X-Pro1 was an amazingly fun experience. The camera is totally different from anything I've ever used before. Of note: There is absolutely no image stabilizer currently with this camera, and yet I had absolutely 0 blurry pics come out of it. I hope everyone enjoys viewing these pics as much as I did making them. Also, is that the fountain in front of Ruben H. Fleet? Fleet. The fountain in the rose gardens is way too deep, and is the one from the previous set of pics of just Mio. That pic is one of my favorites too. It's one of two I took in that particular pose, but each one looks a little different. The breeze picked up just a few hairs and gently tossed them about in front of her. It's too bad that Momo couldn't come, but I think Mio and Arisa look like they had a lot of fun at the fountain in the park! Momo needs another operation, which I'll need to figure out how to do. It may have to wait until after I leave San Diego sadly. I like their outfits a lot, especially Mio's. Such cool colors on that. Billy I gave up counting the girls I own, they keep multiplying and won't stop.
