Taiwan DD from hetalia, tell me what you think

I have recently watched and browse axis powers hetalia series, and I stumbled upon this cute country which made me realize on making a DD of Taiwan. Since Volks DD products doesn't have stock yet, I may want to use a DD limited girl, for those people who doesn't know Taiwan here she is lovies!

Hmmm... I personally think that a HDD-06 matches her the most.

When I imagine the character with those head molds, the HDD-6 looks the best.

 

As for using a limited head... Those are really expensive.

Rina's or Saber Lily's heads would cost you around 600 USD.

For that much you almost buy a fullset limited girl from a Volks lottery!

Taiwan would be great! I really hope she makes it into the anime eventually. Thus far she's only been drawn by Himaruya himself and he tends to draw his character's face very square like with the jawlines and mouths rather low beyond the nose. This occasionally tends to make them look younger when the chin is very short.

 

The DDs that I know of with low jawlines would be DD04, Yui and the upcoming Haruka from Idolm@ster. Unless you want to go with SQLabs than I suggest Hibiki, Silvia (kind of boyish though. Probably would make a better Vietnam) , and Akane. I would imagine that a faceup job in Himaruya's art style would look heavenly! I love the way he draws his little cheek blush. He also has a habit of given his most shoujo looking girls little tiny single eyelashes. IT'S SOO CUTE!

Yui would be great, but I am still confuse..what type of head will I really use?! Hibiki or Sylvia can make great Vietnam or Belarus, still dont get it though, I prefer hdd06 as Nightmare Tea said in some arts

I see some art besides Himaruya and she looks much better than his own drawing of Taiwan. I need much sure answer this time

I think 06 matches the art you showed best, but the art from the manga is very different and I think Yui does fit that more neatly. It really depends on personal preference: which head do YOU like best for her? For the most part, it's best to shoot for a non-limited head... if you wanted Rise, for example, you'd be lucky to spend $600 on the head alone (though personally I don't think Rise is a good match).

 

No one will be able to tell you "this is the definitive best head for Taiwan" because it's very subjective: several head molds can work equally well for the same character. For example, there are tons of custom Sonikos out there: I've seen an 02, 04, SQlab, and Mariko heads used for her and they all look great since they capture different aspects of the character. So, what art style do you like for Taiwan the best. Which do you think best shows her personality? Pick one you like/can afford and I'm sure you won't be disappointed in the result!

I agree with 06, but if it was Yui, it will be expensive to be honest, and besides hdd06 fits her personality because it's a happy teen face. (for my preference, I like hdd06) Yui Hirasawa fits Taiwan but I don't like it much because of the price(either the head or fullset). For the body, I dunno if it's DDS or DDII

Imho 06 is the best. Just get it + eyes and wig, I guarantee that clothes and body will be your last problems.

Agreed, 06 is the best (and it's probably the cheapest).

in telling the name..i dont know if i would chose dds or ddII body the head is chosen final

I think that a dds body would suit her more because to me Taiwan seems to be a more youthful character, so having a youthful looking body would suit her.

but i have tight in money..anyways in DD, I can't choose between 2 bodies yes I know both of em are expensive

I see your point there about the DDS being too expensive, but the regular DD body might not be for sale any more due to the newer bodies getting ready to be sold in parts including the dd3, dddy3, and the mdd3. Although you can buy the body piece by piece since there's no need to get it as a whole (unless you have due date for it) and you can save up for each piece.
