Kyaa I love the DDH-06 head! She's one of my dream dolls to own I really want to get her in semi-white, but volks usa is only selling her in white right now and on any other site I can only find her in white or normal TT~TT

Does anybody know if the DDH-06 will be restocked? On the international site it says it's going to restock in white skin, but I was wondering if anyone knew about the other skin colors? I'd die for one in semi-white

Volks USA has the closed eyed version of the DDH-06 in Normal and Semi White Skin colors, if that's what you're looking for!

My advice would be to keep checking both sites till' you find what you're looking for! GOOD LUCK on your search.

What does it mean for there to be "closed eyes" does that mean that the eyes have to be painted instead of putting in eyes? Because I'd rather get eyes for her than do that.

 

So they usually stock all their basic heads even if it says "sold out"?

The "closed eyes" version of heads have the eye hole that needs to be cutted open in order to have the hole to put eyes in, almost no one paints eyes on DDs, but cutting eyeholes is a job many prefer to avoid to do because if the exacto knife slips from hand you risk to cut too much or ruin the girl, also having the closed eyes version of heads is perfect to have custom shaped eyes sometimes.

 

About the standard heads yes , at volks usa they usually restock (like in Volks international) from time to time, all of the standard pieces/optional parts etc, just matter of waiting when they will do it, also consider the 06 head is often very loved so stocks get empty in no time

 

However since this topic is a collection of custom 06 of the community's users this is a matter that should be better discussed elsewhere i believe

When did you get an 06 girl? She looks super cute! It's rare to see anyone use Yokos default eyes in any head other than Yoko. It worked out nicely tho, I like it!

Finally i have a proper photo to show my little Amaryllis (even if she hasn't still her former wig)

Mods: Sanded off the 06 mouth, sanded down the nose, then did an open mouth mod. Mouth insert made from polymer clay. I have plans to make 3 or so different inserts.

 

He isn't perfect because he was a rush job (mouth edge could use more sanding & his eye makeup got a tad out of control and is bigger than it should be. Reminds me of Goth Rainie...) but I'm still pleased I've got him finished to this point. Eventually he will have a brushed yarn wig that will allow him to have the right hair style.
