Mio goes to Michael's and the Outback.

On Thursday I went to Michael's craft store to look for a few things and I took Mio along with me. Needless to say I ended up buying more stuff than I went in for, but luckily most of the stuff Mio picked up wasn't too expensive.

 

Mio picked up this wooden box first, thinking it would make a nice jewelry box, until I pointed out that the wood was cracked and it had a lot of little splinters everywhere.

 

I set her up in the buggy so she wouldn't get lost, and soon found a better little box for her to put her jewelry into.

 

 

Shortly thereafter in another isle, we found a Batman lunchbox that was the perfect size.

 

 

After all that shopping, we were getting hungry, so we went to the Outback that was farther into the shopping center. Mio was curious as to what a Blooming Onion was, so I got us one.

 

Followed by a Woodfired porterhouse steak, rare.

I hope she didn't eat the entire thing herself! She shared right!!??

Michaels always has some neat stuff! I especially like the lunch box!

Looks like Mio is ready to eat the whole steak by herself, must've worked up quite an appetite!

When I saw the lunch box, I knew I had to get her one.

A blooming onion, Mio sure is lucky. So good. I love her slightly perplexed expression, like "what the heck is this weird looking thing?!"

I really wish the Micheals in town was closer to me. It's almost 40 minutes one way form my house to there and the way their parking lot is set up, it's insane getting in and out of there in a normal timeframe.

 

But they usually do have some really great stuff there to look thru. It was neat to see Mio getting some cool stuff! That Batman lunchbox is awesome and a great size for her.

 

And she got to eat all that?? She eats better than *I* do! LOL

It takes about an hour by bus to get to the Michael's we went to, and it's in a mall. There're two other Michael's around here too, but they're either just as far or farther.

 

She didn't eat all of it, she shared it with me. lol

That is so awesome! That looks like it was such a fun trip. That is great Mio found a nice jewelry box and such a cool lunch box. Blooming onions sure are tasty. That steak is huge! I better not let my DDs see Mio with that steak. They are used to eating much smaller ones. I can't have them demanding huge steaks.

Yep, she gets to go all kinds of places. Sometimes the other girls get to go places too, usually along with Mio, but I have to be careful taking certain girls out to places. Akina and Mio went with me to Disneyland twice, the first time it rained though, so they had to stay in the carrier all day... Akina likes to get into trouble too much, Ayaka tends to attack people for getting too close, Arisa gets drunk and dives into every pool or fountain we find, Arisu gets lost in lingerie shops all day, Momo tends to break a shoulder and become a floating head, etc... Back in Japan, Yoko and Nia, along with Mio went with me to Tokyo for a week. Nia went with me to an organic restaurant (a friend invited me to go there) where she stole my teacup. Mio went with me to a yakiniku restaurant and ended up smelling of grilled meat for a week.

 

It's going to be even harder once I have all of my girls together in one place to be able to share time going places... At least they all seem to understand that Mio is my #1 and none of them seem to mind it because she shares her stuff with them, aside from her glasses that is.

 

 

Here's one of the items I picked up at Michael's with all of the girls in mind: A perfectly sized basketball and hoop set!

 

It looks like she found some wonderful stuff while you were out!

 

She did find some nice stuff, and I found a few nice things too.

That pic of the girls playing basketball is AWESOME! I love their oufits too, very nicely done! I have this same set and have yet to use it. But seeing this pic gives me some ideas to try.
