SQ Lab Original Body

Hm, I'm not a fan of the new body... I prefer pear-shaped bodies, so the small hips and broad shoulders/large bust doesn't appeal to me. I wonder if they will make larger heads to fit it? Since the regular heads are better suited to a 50cm body...

Actually, originally the heads were made for Obitsu's 60cm or Volks DD (57cm) bodies, so I would imagine that the SG sized heads will still be used for the new 60cm bodies.

I definitely think they should release a jointed torso version of the 50cm body. I LOVE the proportions of that body, but its basically the lack of joints that has prevented me in ordering it. D:

I really like possibility in the larger bodies, otherwise I stick to msds.

I wish I had a local person with a sd sqlab that I could examine before a final decision though.

Oh, I know the heads were intended for 60cm bodies, but I think they look better on a 50-ish cm body, like the previous SQ body ^_^; Onr a 60cm body, SQ heads look a bit small to me. Personal preference I guess, but then most anime characters have very large heads!

I like the body! I also love that they already have optional hand prototypes too. However a torso joint, I still want to see one!

I'm really weirded out by how detailed the body is. The heads are so stylized, and then the body is just a little too realistic. It looks like it needs a more realistic, BJD-type head. Also the SQ labs heads *do* look a little small on it... they always looked to small on DD bodies to me, too.

A part of me would love to see a smaller bust size. Like aria doll or switch doll.

i think it is still acceptable but i prefer Dollfie Dream body

I like their bodies, but I keep wishing they would release one that's MSD-size after seeing how cute they look on MDD bodies. I think a mature slim MSD body would be perfect. ^^ It would also be easier to find outfits for them, since that body type is pretty popular in the world of resin.

 

That's really the only thing that's keeping me from getting their bodies with one of their anime heads - finding things that fit them. Could the SG body wear the same stuff the DDS can? The other two large bodies they have might be easier to find things for, but I keep thinking their heads would look odd on it since they are bigger.

Anyone who have buy SQ Lab body, have you sueded the joints or is still the same as the first time you buy it?

Does the body posing ability is quite nice, despite being a resin doll?

What about the one torso? Does it hinder the movement or actually support the movement nicely?

Does anyone have the SG59 to compare with DD3?

 

I'm interested in the body as it look quite nice, but afraid that the pose lack something which will make me regret. Sorry if I posted the question in the wrong thread.
