I think it fluctuates way too much for an actually updated list of prices, in my opinion. However, if you've been doing constant research, you'll have an idea of how much each Dollfie is worth. If you're unsure, there are a lot of Dollfie experts on these forums that will be able to help you out.

Nekopon is right that prices fluctuate quite a bit, especially on YJA, eBay, and Mandarake, as price is influenced by things like condition and completeness of parts in addition to the popularity of any one given DD model.

To top it off both YJA and eBay have a number of scalpers who will list the same dolls at ridiculously high prices over and over until they finally ensnare someone both rich and dumb enough not to do the research. XD Sometimes it's hard to tell from a quick glance what's really a scalper price and what isn't, as the severity varies a bit.

I *strongly* recommend that, before seriously taking the plunge, you pick 2-4 girls you really like and search them on YJA, Jungle, and Mandarake regularly for a month or so. This way you do several things. First, you'll sharpen your search skills so you can find even some of the weirder listings. You'll also get an accurate idea of their going price, both new and used. You'll also get a sense of how rare they are relative to each other, so you can make a call as to whether you'd rather wait longer for a rare one you love or get a somewhat less rare girl sooner. Lastly, if you're in the habit of checking regularly, you'll know at a glance when a good deal comes up, so can leap on it when you see it.

(This is exactly what I was doing when I adopted my Nanoha: I'd been searching her, Fate, and Marisa on YJA and Mandarake on a regular basis, so when I saw a used Nanoha show up used on Mandarake for a good price that hadn't been there the day before I ninja'd her. XD I know it sounds tedious, but believe me, the patience pays off.)

In this household, sanity is considered a tresspasser.

This is not very helpful, but-

When I was at Mandarake Nakano in Japan, they had posted their buyback rates for all Dollfie Dreams. The names weren't in English so I couldn't parse it, but getting ahold of that list could give you some baseline for prices of all models. Maybe somebody living around there could get us a cellphone pic

The buyback rate isn't a good indicator of the re-sale price though.

I chatted with TokyoHunter about this when he took me shopping in Akihabara last year. Mandarke (and other "recycle" toy shops) will pay anything from 50-90% of the retail value of a figure, gachapon toy or dollfie dream depending on the popularity and condition it's in. For something that's "not popular" they usually buy it back at 50% retail but then turn around and sell it for close to retail, or maybe 10-20% discounted off retail. For something that's very popular (like Morikawa Yuki or Sasara) they will pay close to retail to the person that's desperate enough to sell and then sell it for "market" price based on eBay and Y!J.

I could easily get ahold of the list, but those prices are nothing like what we'd actually pay for the dolls. Used stores want to make a profit, so they'll always buy stuff for x amount less than what they plan to sell it for.

Really, the best bet is to watch Mandarake and Yahoo Japan. Those are the best indicators of the DD market values. The market value highly fluctuates too. For instance, I bought a Natsuki v1 for about 70k yen back in June from Mandarake. The same condition doll on Mandarake now goes for about 100k yen. Ever since Natsuki v2 came out, the demand for both (but the v1 especially) has shot the value up.

There's also dolls that don't show up that often on the aftermarket, so it's hard to track their value. They disappear off of Yahoo Japan and/or Mandarake incredibly fast, indicating that their value might be higher than was sold for, but the dolls simply don't come up often enough for sale to know what is the price range people might pay. There's also enough DDs out there that it's just getting hard to keep track of.

In general, I'd say most DDs fall somewhere between 70k-100k yen at their used value. Some are obviously more and some are obviously less, but most are in that price range.

Are you ready to rock? ^_^
