More Ponies

Yeah, you've read right.. I need more ponies.

 

So here's the list run-down for those of you keeping score:

Also.. Haruki may end up as Dr. Whoof, Braeburn or possibly Prince Blueblood, he hasn't really decided what his eye/hair color will be yet.

Why no Pinkie Pie/Sweetie Belle? Because a close friend of mine already has a DD and MDD styled as them.

 

 

 

Now then, onto the concepts!!!

 

 

BIG MAC

------------------------------------------------

 

Ok, the plan here is to use an obitsu 60cm male body ( so he's taller than the other DDs) with an option 2 head. I already have his eyes and wig.

 

RAINBOW DASH

------------------------------------------

 

The plan is for an Option 4 head on either a DDII or DDIII body, which will require a small bust. I already have her eyes.

 

SHINING ARMOR

-------------------------------------

 

Still unsure if he will be white vinyl or not. Planned to use an Option 2 head regardless. His wig is currently on order.

 

PRINCESS CADENCE

-------------------------------------

 

Plan is for a DDII or DDIII body either medium or large bust ( still undecided) with an Option 6 head. Her wig is currently on order and I have her eyes.

 

SCREWBALL

------------------------------------

 

I actually already have her head/body ( Obitsu 48cm Body with 50-02 head) and her wig is currently on order. Will only further require her eyes and a propeller cap.

I love how just after I posted this character concept thread, a bunch of my expected things showed up. So thankfully I now get to give an update!

 

 

Ok so.. first up.....

 

Big Macintosh is pretty much finished!

 

 

I'm not 100% sure that this will be his permanent wig, but I'm pretty pleased with how he turned out. He's currently on a Doll Family male body (62.5cm) and I actually like how he looks on it. He looks pretty muscular in person and has a good height difference compared to the girls. I'd really like if possible to get him a 65cm body, but if my other boys end up on 58cm or 60cm bodies, then he may just stay on this one. He has strong shoulders.

 

Dash's head came in, went in for a bit of sanding to remove a fair portion of the mouth/lips and gave her a face-up. She's looking pretty awesome. She stole poor Ichiko's body for this quick picture ( you can even see the packing materials and the box she came in laying in the background.)

 

 

Her body will hopefully be secured soon, and hopefully a wig too.

 

 

Final news, had a bit of a shake-up in the house. Haruki has decided he wants to be Shining Armor ( of course) but doesn't want his face to be Neris ( poor Neris!) so the Option 6 head I had ordered to make Princess Cadence is now for Shining Armor.

 

 

By the way, found myself loving the Option 6 head. May need to totally strongly consider making a Bonbon and Lyra just so I can use this cute head. His face-up came out alright, certainly looks androgynous. Thankfully his wig will likely be on the way in a month or so. Now, just to get him a body and eyes!

 

Also, because the Neris head is now going to be used for the lovely Cadence, that means her head and wig are secured, so now she just needs a body.
