I wish they'd at least have a bundle option for the parts. I'm glad Volks is selling option parts with the internal frame pieces, especially with the breakage issues of the DDIII, but it's going to be very annoying when certain parts are sold out.

 

Lots of nice outfits so far, I really like the bikini with the denim shorts. Sakura's outfit is really cool too, and I'm liking Miki as well.

Well I knew that Volks would eventually start releasing Idolm@ster girls, I just wish it wasn't so soon! Miki is my favorite from the games and I really like the DD version of her so she is must buy for me, hopefully I can work some extra shifts and can afford her by August.

UGH! August is going to be a killer on my wallet...I have to pay off Rise and Yukinojo from Dolpa 27 in August, and now this! i love all the DD's and the close and also the resin....

Ed, I think your custom Haruka is MILES better than the Volks version.

 

Agreed. The only point for him to get a Haruka is if he likes the outfit she comes with and maybe that special body. Could always try to do a split if someone wants the head.

 

I'd entertain a split just to get the wig and maybe the outfit. If I manage the outfit, I'd need to do some body switching, since Haruka is currently sitting on a DDII body.

I was starting to wonder when Volks was going to do IdolM@ster... it's a gold mine considering how many characters there are, not to mention all the outfits. I'm glad they've run out of Sabers to make and are moving on.

Ha, good luck with that! Anyone actually buying one of them probably wants to keep that special seamless torso. I know I would, assuming I liked the posability.

Depending on how I do with funds raising, I may be interested in splitting the brunette for the head only she is like third in line of priority though (I want Sakura and the blond as complete dolls).

Nice offerings, once again! I really like Miki. Not enough that she is on my "must have" list, but I suppose that is a good thing considering how tempting the outfits are (those Idolmaster uniforms!), not to mention the resin.

 

And what a great time to release cute swimwear, a bikini really highlights how nice the new torso looks!

None really appeal to me that much, except Natsuki v.2 but I think I can hold off on her .

 

The opened mouth just doesn't look natural to me. The blonde chick has this cool look about her though and the Sakura Wars girl is pretty but she looks too similar to past DDs.

Oh wow it's amazing how much awesome DD news you can miss out on when your electric is out all weekend and have such crazy shifts at work like me. T_T

 

Anyway this is amazing news they have already revealed who the newest girls will be. I must say I agree with most that Sakura is a bit of a disappointment face up wise. :-/ For some reason I expected a bit more...oh well just saves me some money. I love her default outfit and battle outfit. But they are just not my girls style so I am safe there.

 

But.......those IdolM@ster girls default outfits.....let's just say my bank account is doomed. XD

 

I am totally head over heals crazy in love with their default outfits. They are so amazing and beautiful!

 

Perfect for me since I already have 3 idols in my family. They are screaming out to me must get for Yuki and Rina, plus those 2nd alternate outfits and the school uniforms.

 

I also love the new clothes they are releasing at this Dolpa. All the swimsuit sets are screaming buy me too, along with a few other sets and some of the shoes.

 

As for the IdolM@ster girls themselves, I'm not sure if I will be actually adopting either of them. I'm thinking strictly getting their outfits only. Just for the fact I told myself that if I get anymore girls for my family I have to be absolutely crazy about them. I'm not really that way with either of them.

 

Although Miki is being quite the evil temptress to me. I really love her the most, her face is super gorgeous and she has wonderful style. Also the new seamless body type is intriguing me some. I will just have to wait and see how things go if I actually break down and try for her.

Same is true for other things. Shining Hearts (Neris, Airy) never came out in the US. Neither did Shining Wind (Sakuya). Same is true for White Album (Rina, Yuki) and lots of other things.

 

I think the Touhou girls have been the only exception, and that wasn't because the games haven't come out here. That was because the license required it to be a Japan only release.

The K-ON! girls also were only sold in Japan, which may have had to do with the anime rights. Still, an exception, rather than the rule.
