Miki and Haruka are among my favorite characters from im@s (aside from Takane and Makoto) but I have to admit.. Haruka's head is just a no go for me. Unfortunately, I think SQ labs did a better job with the open mouth heads. I love Miki's face and head and outfitsjdlkjaksljfsa ; 3; I love her character too! (though I was kind of annoyed with her in the recent anime!!)

But man... I don't know much about Sakura wars but Sakura is so damn cute ;A;

The only thing I'm interested in for Miki is her wig. I have no idea what doll I'd use it on, but I like it a lot. If anyone ever splits the wig, I might have to pick it up. The bodies are interesting, but if it takes away posability, I'm not so interested. I don't keep my dolls in skimpy outfits anyway, so you can't even see the bust joint.

 

Sakura's really cool though. Even though her face is a lot like Reimu's, I still like her.

Loving the clothes especially the shoes. Not sure about getting any of the girls yet but if I have money at the right time I may not be safe.

Been waiting for better pics, and as usual I am safe. The new torso is aesthetically pleasing, but I have doubts it will function well mobility wise. Fix and stock the current ones before churning out new options that may or may not work.

Sakura is pretty enough, I can see potential for her out of character. Miki is gorgeous! love the shape of the face. Even though I am not against open mouths, Haruka's does not have the cuteness escalayer's did. It seems to exaggerated.

Can't wait to see Sakura in owners hands though. She may turn into something special with the right eyes/wig. (Don't they all though? )

Seems my DD lust period for Miki has started to wear off with the more images I see of her. She is really gorgeous, but still I don't think she has that something special to push me to comit to buying her. She is another girl I can add to my *would be nice to own, but don't have to have list.*

 

But I am still going to go after Miki and Haruka's outfits. This is going to turn out to be another big clothing haul event for my girls. Like my girls really need anymore clothes. =3 But with 3 idols already in the family their clothing demands can be pretty fierce. XD

Am I reading things wrong or does it seem that Sakura will only be for preorder at the event and will not be available at the after event? I really rather liked her and hope that it is not the case otherwise I fear I will be paying dearly on the aftermarket for her. After seeing more pictures I crossed Haruka off my list entirely, I'm more in love than ever with Miki though will try for her and probably at least one of her outfits. I don't have any dds yet so the fact that she is one is just kind of a bonus (I do have Millhiore on the way but just her head and I intend on giving her a mddIII body).

About these new one piece torsos...

 

Would it be possible to just buy the separate torso pieces and put those on instead if it turns out we dont like the one piece torso?

I think it most likely would work. You'd just need a new torso, bust piece, and internal frame piece... Then could recycle the arms and legs.

 

Even though we won't know for sure until Miki comes out, I figure Volks would keep the bodies compatible so that you could still buy replacement parts if you ever needed to.

I was on the fence as to whether I'd try and get my hands on Miki, as she is one of my top 4 favorite Im@s characters (the others being Hibiki, Makoto, and Asuza), but so far the photos haven't been making me jump off that fence onto the empty wallet side. Haruka, I'm not that much of a fan of her character to begin with. Sakura I was actually kind of hopeful for, but not really liking the face that much, it doesn't remind me of her very much.

 

So for Sendai amazingly I'm good. Now that damn new type-moon announcement kind of kills me a bit, and also that little financial problem of that Saber and Rin I just bought creates...

I was thinking of going for Miki, but think I’m going to have to save for Aozaki Aoko

Think I may still pick up her head later though, not to crazy about that new body.

In a q&a they say she'll be preorder for VS/VIP members at the event and then available as normal in the lottery. They point out you can apply for membership before hand and at the event. So, I guess, technically, everyone who attends could purchase her.

I'll be sitting bystander this time but I've gotta say the Sakura would have totally had me pulling the trigger. What sold me is the Battlesuit of hers. Totally makes the character for me. But as I mentioned before after just picking up my first I won't be ready for another for atleast a year lol.

ok i not good in Japanese and with some google translator help but it seem like

1) some amount of Sakura will be available at the event, but they will switch to reservation in the event after it sold out.

2) 1 per customer

3) it can only be pre-ordered at Dolpa sendai and will not be available for order in after event.

4) the VS/VIP part is talking about it will be send to their registered address or if they wish to change the delivery address they need to fill up a form.

The VS/VIP thing is a special Volks point card/special VIP system that applies to the Japanese web store, the Dolpas in Japan, and the Japanese stores. It's basically saying the people in those programs can get a guaranteed, 1 doll per person pre-order. Anyone not part of those programs has to try to get Sakura as part of the regular lottery.
