I'll need better pictures of Sakura, but everything else I'm perfectly safe from. This is good news.

I imagine you'd lose a lot of range of motion without that bust line joint, though.

 

Maybe they just moved it right up under the bust? Like the DDDy but higher, like what Fairyland did with the MiniFee body (http://dollfairyland.com/shop/step1.php?number=539).

 

That would mean a whole new line of bodies/bust parts.

I think it might be just 1 whole piece made out of soft silicon. That will be a pain though... if you want to change bust sizes.

 

I'm pretty sure it can't be a single piece, there needs to be a split so you can get the internal frame parts inside. Looks like its just very well hidden along the bust line.

 

This is something I've been wanting for a long time. Looks so much better in revealing cloths like swimsuits.

They are all very cute but I really like Miki though. I need some of those outfits too!

personally i was hoping that there wouldnt be any models in this batch that i would like, since i barely got away scraping enough for rise.

 

Speaking of which im a bit dissapointed the glasses are a stand alone accessory, and probably will require camping the volks site to get.

 

But Miki does look the most tempting, eventhough the regular idolmaster anime didnt much create any favorites from any of the girls, and I cant even remember was Miki part of the Xenoglossia thing before that...

 

the sakura taisen girl looks rather nice, but only because of the traditional outfit since I havent really gotten into that series personally, so will have to see.

 

Atleast I can hazard a guess where my extra money will be going.

A seamless torso? I wonder how that will work? It doesn't look like it will give much posability tho if you can't twist them side to side. I'm betting they raised the torso line up high like on the DDdy girls. But I guess we'll have to wait and see how things turn out.

 

As far as girls go, I won't be going after any of these altho I really do like that Miki girl from Im@s, she's a cutie.

 

And some of the clothing for the Im@s girls is really cute and fun, I might try for one or two of those.

 

But what I *MUST* obtain are all those swimsuit sets!!!! I love all those, especially the yellow one with the jean shorts! I will KILL for that one.

 

I suppose I'll have to actually try to do the International event this time since I''m betting Volks US will get NADA for stuff as usual. >_<

Though I'm a Idolm@ster fan, I thought I was safe because my favorite characters are Makoto and Ami/Mami. However, the more I look at them, the more my brain thinks "oh wow, with a change of eyes and wig, wouldn't they fit right into your current group?" So.. bah. >_> It depends if I can somehow get enough money to try to bring them home.

While I like Miki, Makoto's my favorite of the IM@S girls, so I'm pretty safe ^^; I do like the number of outfits they're going to have for the girls though.

 

On the fence for Sakura. I'm glad they have the battle outfit for her. I just wouldn't be right if they released her without it.

Out of the 3 girls Miki is closest to her character design, she looks great. Idolm@ster is pretty big in Japan so I have a feeling she will be the most popular girl this time. Need some more pics of Sakura, so far she doesn't look like Sakura at all. Somewhat dissapointing since I love Sakura Taisen.

I'm wondering...how long ago was it since they actually showed that they were going to do a Sakura Taisen DD? Is it just me or did they really take a year for this? O.o I swore she was leaked before the Sabers by a couple of months, so maybe not a year. Just seemed like a really long time. I guessed continuously when she'd release.

 

I really like the outfits this time around (as I always do) and while off-topic I am going to maybe break my own rules for one of their resins. The rest of the scans went up.

Figured I'd link shoes and two resin girl dresses that seem to look as if they can fit DD.

 

 

Oh man, a big hit for this summer again Haruka is a sure go for the outfit and body alone... and there are a few outfits that's catching my eye currently too

But that was a special event since it was the re-opening of the new Akiba showroom. I hope they don't do a "happy 1 year anniversary of the Akiba showroom" release or something. A lot of people will be disappointed.

No clue either way. xD I'm safe from that event. It's this current event that it creeping around the corner in August that I'm afraid of. I really am happy to not adore any of the DD girls this time around (Ugh but that resin), but these outfits are killing me. So cute.

As a giant, total and complete DD NOOB, what exactly does this event mean for us? Will it be a lottery? Will it be open to people in the USA? When can we expect this to all take place? *starts counting pennies* I have a bad case of the NEEDS! lol
