I don't have an Aoko, but I saw her both at the Dolpa in person and at the after event yesterday in person. She doesn't have glossy lips. Those pics of her with glossy lips are modified by owners. Kumi Posted January 13, 2013 She's pretty and all but You know what? - Somehow I'm liking the 07 more. I think 07 reminds me more of Lily, now when I can see her in person. Maybe looks older, too... First, the background: I am building a doll with a very specific look in mind, and am searching for the right head to use as her permanent sculpt. Aoko is one of the candidates. I'm especially curious about Aoko because of her faceup; most other heads I'm looking at would have to be repainted, which is something I'm loathe to have done to a limited DD, but Aoko could be used as-is if her head turned out to be the right one. I could not acquire Aoko in person yesterday, so I can't currently answer this question for myself. I'd like to learn whether the build project should move in Aoko's direction or in a different one. Now, the question: What does Aoko look like with a 100% stock faceup, green eyes, and a blonde wig? (Is she the right answer?). Hair and eye color shades should be similar to original Saber's, that kind of green and blonde. (I actually already have the wig and eyes, so what I technically need is to borrow an Aoko head for 10 minutes and try them on. But I'll go for photos as a second choice ). I do have a DDH-07 prepaint, which was one of the other candidate heads I tried for this project. Although pretty in her own right, the 07 has too mature of a face for the character I'm working on. So I have to choose something else. (EDIT: I like your own 07 quite a lot - those green glass eyes go especially well with her face! I'm impressed.) Oh - I'm not actually trying to make original Saber herself though - I just picked her as a way to communicate the eye and wig color in a way that was easy to describe. maybe you can photoshop some green in those eys Thanks for the pointer.
