Judging by the number of hands that went up at the head of the line, instead of asking the question "who here wants DD Aoko?", the staff may as well have asked "who here wants 50,000 yen for free?" ^_^;;. Well, truth be told I have been wondering recently if Volks might give their employees finished dolls as a way to supplement their income, not unlike how the animators of old used to be able to take anime cels after the show was over and sell them for high prices. And that might be part of the motivation to keep supply low and prices high. Complete conspiracy theory on my part, but then again Japanese companies have done this before (anime). I got a bunch of clothes and misc items for other people at the after-event, but struck out again on both DDs. I guess my trophy would be a pair of DDSister feet, which was the last piece I needed to finally complete the DDS body I started building from parts at the DD Gathering in October.
