Ahhh hello I ran into trouble today trying to stuff my Kumi and I tugged a little too hard on the head and the vinyl unclipped from lock part of the neck piece and when I was trying to fix it the whole neck piece just fell out of the head....if anyone could help me/guide me on how to reattach it that would amazing ;_;

Hi and welcome!

 

I usually unscrew the neck piece and reassemble it around the head hole, but you can also insert it and moving the top left and right letting the vinil "wings" take their position inside the clip.

Isn’t she cute??? I was on the fence based on the first pics but when I saw Tommy post the pics with the blonde hair and dark eyes, I decided to go for it. I lurked Mandarake until they hit the website.

I wonder when white/bright white hull part sets and type-J heads will finally be restocked on Mandarake and Quarantotto. I often see brown hull part sets in stock, but white hull part sets are often out of stock and difficult to come by.

I want to build a new character concept based on AP’s type-J head sculpt with a short hime-cut wig and her original AP faceup. Hint: AP Misa-chan. I mention her a lot.
 

I want to try her head on a DD-f3 or DDdy-f3 body in the future. You know, because of the countless ways and pictures of how DD bodies can be posed and modified along with a huge selection of products for them. I hope it’ll look proportionate and not like a reverse bobblehead.

Thank you so much you actually saved me! I ended up unscrewing everything like you had mentioned and I found that easier than trying to work with the neck piece being put together, everything's just as good as new ❤️

So I've got a decent stimulus check coming in, and I'm planning to take the plunge and finally buy one of these gals! Mandrake currently has 2 girls with my coveted B-type body up for sale and I'm debating which one to get - the Kanu has less yellowing, but I like Miu's head better.

 

I received my Kumi too, I post close-up pictures

I've seen them on Manda, I was about to buy one just for spare skeleton parts, but no. They're in really bad shape for me, but I would go for Miu if I have to choose, I don't like their Kanu.

I was gonna put AP Nanase on layaway on Faithz but when I checked today she was sold out, me and my boyfriend are really bummed but I'm hoping just like Kumi she'll be on mandarake ; __ ;

i was gonna do that too, along with my friend- however she's the one who actually got the last one just a few hours before your post here. it was a bittersweet moment, because i had planned to order right after her T_T but i'm still really happy for her- this will be her first doll ever and it's the only one she's ever liked in 6 years of me showing her a bunch LOL. placing the order was a mistake too, she planned to wait until the end of the month but it was a happy accident for sure.

I'm happy for your friend as well! She's very lucky ^__^ something similar actually happened to me with my Kumi, I didn't plan to get her until a little later but wanted to see what my total would be so I would have an idea and I ended up pressing the purchase button by mistake LOL, hopefully we will be able to get nanase's on mandarake, there's still hope for us!

Kumi is so cute!! I'd love to repaint one of her heads, as I think it would come out beautifully!
