@Rneiro I didn’t create a tan body using a 50cm Obitsu body. I created a white AP body using a 47cm Obitsu body and replacing the torso, bust, and thighs parts

 

I did create two AP tan bodies using the Obitsu 48cm whitey frame. You can find pictures here I have shared them multiple times or if you look on my IG or Flickr page you will find them there as well

Oh.. Whew! I am SO glad I didn't buy the Parabox 45cm body I saw on Surugaya for 9,500 yen and waited, albeit impatiently and reluctantly, for an Ob48 body in better condition! It wouldn't have been worth the money to use for AP conversion.

I actually saw these on display at the Azone Labelshop today. I should have taken pics of all of them, but only snapped ones of the new White Ellie. For anyone who’s interested, here you go.

She looks nice in that pic! Though the one bit that bugs me quite a bit is the color mismatch in the elbow and knee joints.

Outta curiosity, what exactly is the hip & thigh size for Ellie? It seems like finding non-skirt bottoms would be challenging.

A quick tape measure gave me 23.0cm for the hip and 15.6cm for the thickest part of a thigh.

Challenging? That's one way to call it. The hip size of the type-H torso is fairly similar to the one of 60cm dolls. So something like shorts or underpants for DD/Smd do fit decently well. But you can basically write off normal trousers as (apart from being too long) they will likely be too slim to fit the type-H thighs.

My Ellie is a skirt girl  so it's not that much of an issue for me, but if you want one to dress in trousers, you might have to consider swapping out some body parts.

Yeah, I usually use DD bottoms/skirts/shorts for my Ap girls.

Here's one of my girls with a DD skirt and Icon stockings. 

I've also occasionally gotten msd size undies/shorts to fit, but they have to be stretchy enough to go over the thighs.

Yep! I saw something about her faceup being based off of Emmy (or was it Emma?). Then again, they both have the same head sculpt but in different skin colors.

Also, does anybody know if a tan type-G head has ever existed? I saw a white blank type-G head, but haven’t seen a picture of a tan type-G head. I would shave her lips down for a head/faceup similar to this:

I find it hard to believe that her eyes are 16mm!

I noticed the more realistic human-like heads usually have eyes from 12mm to 16mm. OSD 99's faceup makes her eyes appear bigger than what they actually are.

I was a tad bit confused when I found a blank G head in white but not a blank G head in tan on Quarantotto.biz.

If a head/part is available in one skin color, then shouldn't it be available in the other skin colors?

For some reason or another, blank heads and other items (which I don’t feel like documenting) aren’t sold on the RAP site..

I have more questions.. Could somebody help me identify the wigs in these photos? Do they have extensions added? I like how these wigs look either way. Pictures are from RAP’s webshop.

Parabox May’s faceup 2 is pretty close to OSD 99’s faceup, in my opinion. I could make a OSD 99 lookalike if I wanted to!

May’s picture is from ParaboxShop and the other is from Mandarake.

Has anyone had trouble with mysterious stains ? 

 

This is the 2nd girl that has developed blue marks on her. Almost like faint blue ink. Its really hard for me to photograph but it's on the lower torso part. They aren't kept in or even wear dark clothes. I honestly don't know how the marks got there, they appeared over night. It might be the 40 degree Aussie heat reacting to something idk. I hope i can get them out because im so confused T-T I thought the first time it happened to my other girl I was because I had her in denim for 5 seconds but it seems it's more of a mystery.

I know that on some other outfits, while the interior is lined in white, the threads usually match the outer fabric, and it's a random chance that they aren't "color-fixed", so, there's always a possibility of bleed-thru. A small application of remove-zit or acne cream/benzoil peroxide will usually clear it up quickly...  

I'm not sure what you'd have down in the Land of Oz, but, maybe even a microfibre cloth and a mild warm soapy scrub would work, going by your pics, they look very minimal, so I'd try that first.

@zaada She probably just look at dark fabric. The same thing has happen to some of my tan AP and my normal skin DD girls. I avoid putting dark clothing on them for long periods of time only to take pictures and such. So I arrived to the conclusion that when they see dark color fabric they get so scared and that make them get stain because for the life of me I cannot find another explanation 😝

I have Remove-Zit but am afraid to use it on my doll parts. I heard it caused temporary swelling on somebody’s Dollfie Dream doll skin. (gossip?) It stinks too! (NOT gossip)

I had trouble removing it from my Obitsu/Parabox parts. I used an X-Acto knife to take the Remove-Zit off on a stained blank doll head of mine.. and cut the top part of her nose off. 😭

I've heard good reviews about Oxy10 though. I still have yet to try it out myself. 

My Suzuka has mysterious stains around the same area as @zaada’s doll. The only difference is that Suzuka’s torso is AZO2 instead of AP. But both are still vinyl, right? 

Suzuka has worn the same white and light blue-lined robe ever since my DDdy got her stain prevention tights. The last thing I expected to find were two dark marks under her light-colored robe!

Those marks wouldn’t be visible if she had underwear on.. Heck, all my dolls need to have underwear on.

The difference in vinyl composition is minimal, mostly, I think it's density over flexibility, but I may be mistaken, though.

Treatment is similar, one type of vinyl might take longer to clear up than the other. 

I've heard of folks swear by TwinPines products, but have only used Oxy10 myself. (Tana had her legs turn purple and dark blue from an EvilBay set of stockings that went straight in the trash afterwards! The Oxy10 worked miracles!!)

Amen to that! For me, trying to find a "decent" pair of undies has been a particular challenge. Cute low waist ones are hard to find, otherwise they look like "grannie-panties" or "Butt-floss", which just doesn't really appeal to me. guess I'm somewhat "Old Fashioned" that way..

The C4 mods...

As stated the original C4 bust from 2014 had the right breast pointed up and the left pointed down.

 

In 2015 a technician at the MADh Vinyl Lab had the fevered dream of combining C4 breasts of similar attitude.

 

Two years later when C4s came to the market that dream began to take shape.

Another archival image

The left breast bust (up pointed) hid the seam better and there were smaller gaps to fill.
