I was delighted to snap up a couple of stands for my girls. Unfortunately, the nightgown I ordered for her doesn't stretch enough to cover her bust as I had hoped it would. Here's hoping I'll have the spare time to start sewing gown mock-ups this week.

@diastrefo she's so cute!! Maybe she's from a couple centuries ago in Europe when it was fashionable to have one's nipples out !

Also Lomi's Playground recently posted a video for a similar nightgown, and she includes the free pattern as well! I plan on making one for my AP too!

Yes, Poly-fil what you're looking for. I personally use a sheet of the latter, just picked up a small bag from WalMart. The sheet is perfectly fine, I just tear a piece off, pull it apart & fluff it with my fingers a bit before use, works a treat. If you're concerned about any wispy bits poking through where the vinyl skin meets, just roll it between your fingers after fluffing & it will take on a ball shape quite easily.

Yes, I'd say either one should work fine.

I used a more sheet-like variety (similar to the second link) as well and rolled it up into balls and cylinders.

There's a very helpful post by @K-2, that should work as a good reference for how to go about the stuffing process:

hello! Looking to buy my first angel philia, currently torn between aina and mizuhime (both available on mandarake right now). i was wondering if anyone could provide comparison pics between the whitey and tan skin tones? specifically im looking to see exactly how dark the tan is when the two are held next to eachother. it seems to vary in pictures, and im having a hard time finding photos of the two right next to eachother.

I feel your pain, the photos for each of the AP girls have such drastic lighting differences it can be hard to visually tell the skin tone they are. MrFjmg03's photo is a fantastic reference, but in case you want an extra as well, here is an official photo by RAP with all three skin colors in the same lighting.

In order from top to bottom: Super Whitey, Whitey, Tan/Brown.

I ordered my tan girl through Mandarake & it was a great experience - here's hoping whichever girl you choose comes home safe & sound! Would love to see pictures when she arrives!

A couple things have surprised me in switching to AP, one in particular that I don't recall being brought up.

From left to right are AP-H, AZO2-C, AZO2-G.

The neck on the AP bust is noticeably longer for some reason, and this bears out when a head is mounted... the neck appears long.

The other thing I noticed is that at least for H lower torsos, it's only compatible with the AP-H bust I have. The AP torso has a much larger circumference. None of the other busts I own come close to fitting.

this picture is incredibly helpful, thank you! i ended up going with the whitey skin tone, and im ordering a body and head separately from different sellers. im getting a sayuri body with h bust, and i managed to get a shizuka head for very cheap, so im planning to send her off to get a custom faceup. both of these are coming from within the same country as me, so shipping is a lot faster/cheaper, and its more likely to get to me safely considering the current state of the world.

I'm very glad it helped! And what lucky finds, I hope they ship quickly & arrive safely - I'm envious, all my doll purchases thus far are coming from out of country, so I'm forced to summon every ounce of patience I have. I'm waiting for my second girl to arrive before I try to send them both out for faceups together (hoping the eyelashes I ordered will come in before then...) - I would love to see photos of your girl once she's arrived & especially after she's painted! Excited to see how you'll style her.

Has anyone found nice crop jeans that will fit on type-H legs? I actually prefer something cropped or could just roll up, but it's unclear if any jeans will have adequate room for the AP's thighs.

For example, these look great, but they're already pretty tight looking on the smart doll, which is a full 1cm smaller.

This search is reminding me a fair bit of searching for jeans where all those squats develop your thighs and make shopping for jeans quite a challenge.

I panic-brought a 50cm Obitsu body off Mandrake because it was only like $100, now to figure out if I use it to make a whitey doll or a tan/whitey hybrid.

I have a pair of full length TTYA jeans sized SD13 GIRL / Smart Doll. Under the assumption that the ones you linked are cut very similar (just shorter), there's no way they'll work with the AP Type H thighs.

Thanks for checking! For sake of completeness, will TTYA's denim shorts in general fit OK? 

I have their gym shorts, but those are very elastic.

shes here!! well... at least her body is here. 

shes a sayuri body, but the bust is swapped out for the slightly larger type h. shes wearing her heel feet now, with gripped hands, but i also have the flat feet and the other two sets of hands. shes missing a little bit of blushing on one nipple, but its nothing i cant fix on my own. i love her stylized body and her peachy nail polish, and i especially love the posing on the open hands! theyre so elegant and delicate.

ive decided to call her haku, and ive got a type j head on the way for her. her body is all stuffed and shes ready to be dressed! i cant wait to make clothes for her and show her to everyone when shes complete!

Here's Ellie wearing the old Smart Doll shorts. These are considered to be very similar to the TTYA shorts, so they should give you a good Idea of the look on a type H torso and thighs.

Overall, they are a decent fit. - On the waist they are bit wide in the back, but it's not too extreme and can be hidden by other clothes if necessary.

Note: If your AP isn't soft skin you may have a hard time pulling the shorts over the thighs.

 

And while we're at it, here's a TTYA jeans skirt as well. Similar issue with a wide waist in the back - otherwise also decent.

Congratulations on (most of her) safe arrival! I really enjoy the stylized look to the AP bodies, they're so charming. The peachy pink nail polish was such a treat to see, honestly. I just swapped my girl to the open hands as well & adore them!

Haku is such a cute name! Do you have ideas for clothes, or are you going to try out a few styles to see what feels right? Looking forward to seeing what you create!

It looks like the fit's a notch tighter than the AZO2 ones around the thighs, but it otherwise looks rather nice.

Do you find that the shorts constrict her flexibility at all? The AZO2 ones don't because the material is somewhat elastic, but I've got an MDD-sized pair from Nine9 for my AZO45, and it prevents her from sitting at a 90 degree angle.
