Also, there was a type R Mikako on mandarake that I missed, I was so devastated 😭 I'm hoping Tommy brings that sculpt back one of these days she's so strangely adorable to me

Aww!  What a pretty family!  Congrats!  And there is always something special about our first one isn't there?  I know mine certainly gets spoiled and given all the good stuff.  It sure looks like yours gets the best outfits!  I love that set on her!  Do feel free to share more pics of her in that because maid uniforms are definitely awesome!

I was sorting some old clothes I've had in storage that I intend to sell or give to friends, and during my rummaging stumbled across a few pieces that looked like they might fit an AP. It's really not her, or my, style - but I must admit, she looks quite cute.

@POMNYAN Your girls are so stunning! Did you do their face ups yourself, they look really good.

Her arms and lower back look to have ample coverage and those areas are where you lose the most heat. Besides, this girl is so hot, that sweater would spontaneously ignite if she covered more of herself with it. 😁🥰😍

Also managed to build my tan doll from parts, now just need a head 🥲 also deciding on the bust. Which do you prefer in regards to looking best for the b torso ? Won't be using this head

Went back in the rabbit hole of looking for sneakers, and found some which looked good. I just received them and happy that they fit perfectly.

I went through a bunch of the previous pages, and I've done searches on insta and flickr but I haven't turned up anything... so I was curious if anyone has ever seen an angelphilia with anime eyes? I'm trying to figure out what kind of eyes I want to give my Emi, and I'm not sure if animetics would work but I'm curious, and kind of surprised I couldn't find anyone that had tried it!

My secondhand o-type came with tiny anime eyes, not sure where the previous owner got them though. 

(Eyes are small enough that I've actually got them in a obi 24/parabox rn.)

I can totally hunt down eyes, myself, it's just that all of mine were too big or too small to experiment with, so thank you for this pic! They work pretty well... 🤔

My girl does have anime eyes - though with her heavy lashes & half-open eyes, it's probably harder to tell with her than it would be with some of the other, more open-eyed AP head sculpts.

So I've seen Faith Z has started a pre order for Kumi Ver 2 and I've fallen head over heels for her. I have never owned nor ordered an AP so I have no idea what I'm doing 🤣 

I'm from the UK so things are always complicated but I do order from Mandarake quite regularly (I know normal post is suspended to the UK from Japan but DHL isn't) 

Basically what I'm wondering is do I need to order from Faith Z or is there a chance she might end up on Mandarake soon and I can get her on there?

I bought mine on Mandarake.

Some days (maybe hours XD) after release date, you can be assured than new AP will pop daily on Mandarake. It's like a distributor, so if you want to wait Mandarake it's a viable option.

Obviously you must keep an eye on the doll section. Though DHL is painfully pricey... >< I don't dare to imagine the shipping cost for a big box like doll's one... wait I can check.

 

For Italy is... 11030 yen >< (less than I thought tbh).

I've had a DD shipped DHL before and I think it was about 9900 yen if I remember rightly. Its expensive and the custom fees are guaranteed which sucks but I dont want to risk missing her if I wait until normal post resumes. Dolly fever has kicked in 😅

I know others have already replied, but in my experience - Mandarake is the better option. If you look at the FaithZ listing, it estimates her arrival as May 2022 - so about a week or week & a half before May (at this time, coming right up in a few days), I'd start checking Mandarake regularly. Odds are, she will come up on Mandarake first & you can easily snap her up there. Mandarake usually has them in stock sooner than FaithZ, and DHL is faster (again, in my experience) as compared to HK Post or Vantage. You stand a higher chance of getting her sooner from Order Date -> Arrival Date through Mandarake than through FaithZ, and she should be a bit cheaper as well. Good luck & I hope you're able to get her!

Here's the other pair of sneakers that I bought. I liked them so much that I ordered a 3rd pair 😛
